I opened the door to the police department just in time as Antonio and Burgess were coming my way. I stepped aside as they stepped out. Antonio completely walked away from me, ignoring I was even there while Burgess stopped and looked at me. "What's his deal?" I ask, pointing to the detective who is getting into the car. Burgess turns her head, looking towards Antonio before looking back at me

"He's not happy with Hank right now," she says, before adding. "You should probably get back in there. Ruzek will fill you in on everything." I nod and thank her as I watch her hurriedly run off to catch up with Antonio. Once I see her get in the car I turn and head into the station. I walk up the stairs and there I'm met with Platt looking at me, leaning against her desk, giving me the look. I nod my head slowly at her before heading to the stairs to lead me up to intelligence. Once I get up there I'm met with only Ruzek, who's sitting at his computer. I look around not seeing Hank, Halstead or Kevin. Carefully I walk towards Ruzek with my hands stuffed in my pockets.

"Where is everybody?" I ask, leaning up against his desk. He leans back in his chair, cupping his hands together.

"Dealing with the case you got yourself thrown off of," he answers. I tilt my head and nodded, before looking straight ahead. I pull my hands out of my pockets and cross them over my chest.

"Funny. Now come on, what's going on?" He nods, looking towards the interrogation room.

"Antonio and Burgess found Hayley. Hank's talking with her-" he pauses a moment then continues. "But they were heading back because they found something else that I couldn't quite make out and Halstead and Atwater are going back to the crime scene to see if they can find anything out from laptops, secret hidden areas, whatever."

"Right. And what are you supposed to be doing?"

"Oh right. Hank wants me to keep an eye on you." I roll my eyes and shake my head from side to side. I stand up and feel Adam's brown eyes follow me as I walk in and out of the desks, heading to the interrogation rooms. "Where are you going Beca?"

"Where do you think Ruzek?" I disappear behind the wall and walk down the hall. I open the door into the secret room, already hearing Hank shouting .I shake my head standing in front of the mirror. I cross my arms back over my chest, watching and listening. Hank is standing looking at a blonde haired girl who looked completely terrified. Her eyes were locked on pictures that I knew belonged to the family that had just been murdered. I watched her, as Hank kept asking questions. I examined her too, noticing a bloody nose and a busted lip. I tilt my head to the side, letting my eyes travel down her neck seeing bruises as if someone had strangled her. That then led me to her covered arms. Slowly, I looked at her hands noticing the bruises on them and then slightly seeing something peeking out of her sleeve on her wrists. I bit my lip and turned to walk to the door when Hank's question stopped me.

"Did you do it? Did you kill your boyfriend and his family?" Hank asked. I shook my head and backed up, looking at the two. She couldn't have killed them. Casey said that the unsubs were all males. Unless...Quickly I walked towards the door and swung it open. I walked into the hallway and opened the other door, there Hank stopped shouting at the girl and locked eyes with me. "Well? Have something to say Mitchell or you just-"

"Hallway, now," I say, cutting him off. I take a step back, letting the door shut. I lean against the wall across from the door, waiting a moment. When finally the door opens and out comes Hank, his face furious. He tosses up one hand before shoving his hands into his pockets. I looked back and forth between his eyes shaking my head from side to side. "You know damn well she wasn't at that house the night of the murder."

"We don't know that for sure, besides you're not supposed to be back here Mitchell. You're off the-"

"Listen to me Hank!" I shout, cutting him off once again. His jaw drops a bit, his mouth twitching a bit as he tilts his head to the side. "I'm not saying she wasn't involved though. She might have not been at the house. All the suspects were males, like Casey said, but Hayley could've ordered the hit. Or one of the killers is somehow involved with her, either romantically or relative." Hank is quiet for a moment before nodding his head. He says nothing except for pointing down the hall. I roll my eyes and watch him as he walks back into the room. Quickly I go to the other door and look through the window. Hank takes a seat in front of the girl. I watch the girl's face, waiting.
