Elsa had never felt her body so hot like this in her entire life. Her lips brushing against Maren's soft lips melted her being. Like ice melting against the kiss of a burning coal. She took the brunette's face closer to her, tilting it along the way, deepening the very first kiss she had. She felt warm hands roamed her back, then up to her neck, a tingling sensation of fingers tracing her cold pale skin. Her chest exploding fireworks.
The contradicting temperature of their body washed away Elsa's anxiety and tension that has been built up this past few days. She had been at edge of what her relationship with Maren would turn up if she somehow confessed and what if she did not.
After a few days of struggle on convincing herself, she was both expecting for the worst and yet deep down, hoping for the best.
With Maren's fingers exploring her every inch, from her waist, her back, cupping her face so gently and then tangling themselves with her long platinum blond hair, sure enough, this was something beyond the best she was hoping for.
A few moments, they continued to share a heated kiss. Nimbling on one another's lips, constantly pulling the other closer than they already was.
Unfortunately, they needed air.
Maren was the first to pull away, slowly. Breathing heavily, she rested her forehead on Elsa's. She chuckled.
"What?" Elsa anxiously asked.
The brunette smiled sweetly, shrugged her shoulders and looked away before answering. "Oh nothing."
Maren was leaning against the tree. Her hair ruffled and out of their locks, her honey eyes looked gold and tan skin glistened under the touch of the moonlight. She radiated warmth, smelled of flowers and tough like rocks. She was embraced by the nature's ethereal touch, a touch that made her divine.
Like a warrior goddess.
Elsa had not realized the breath she had been holding as she studied the brunette.
Maren returned her gaze to the fifth spirit who was lost in her own tiny world. She had to wave her hand in front of Elsa's face.
"I-I'm sorry I just--"
"It's fine, snowflake." Maren gave her a teasing smile.
"So uhhm...what do we--wait..."
Maren smirked, already knowing what Elsa is about to point out.
Elsa's face turned beet red, more obvious on her pale skin. And Maren couldn't hold back a laugh. She pretended she didn't like it. Both the nickname and her laugh. "Seriously? Snowflake?"
"What? Don't like it?" Maren's brow quirked upward."We can change it if you want..."
Her pulse quickened again. She really didn't know what to say, she stared at Maren again, admiring. It was obvious what Maren made her feel. Maren could call her dirt and she'd probably blush amd thank her. A tiny soft smile from her lips.
"Snowball? snowie? snow uhhm white? snow white? nahh that sounds lame. how about cake?"
"Cake?" Elsa chuckled at her options. "I think I'm okay with snowflake."
"Oh okay..." Maren pushed herself up from the ground, and shook the dirt off her clothes. Then she turned to Elsa who was still sitting and offered her hand. "Come on snowflake. As much as I love this, we need to sleep."
Elsa took her hand and Maren easily pulled her up. She did the same thing of shaking off the dirt and some dried leaves.
They both walked back towards the camp, smiling and their heart beating crazy fast.
