Kai got home in the early hours of the morning after the events with Marcel, his sister, and the young witch Davina. Climbing up to his room he passed by Hayley's door, quietly twisting the knob only to see the pregnant werewolf staring outside the window.

He knocks on the door loud enough to catch her attention, before asking her about her night.

"Hey, did you get any sleep?" the hybrid allowed himself to enter the room but only stood beside the doorway.

"Yeah, not really it's really hot in here." She replied looking around the room.

"Sorry love, it been years since anyone went here, bad experiences and all, but I'll ask my brother to finds someone who can do something about this house's air conditioning" he smiled.

"Well I just wanted to check on you, I'm going to go head up my room, try and get some rest love"

Not long after Kai had retired to his bedroom, he heard his sister's voice, something about how many more times will Elijah forgive Niklaus.

Deciding that it would be time to make his presence known to his siblings he went downstairs, only to find Rebekah and Klaus' bickering subsiding.

"And our home is worthless without family. I am finding Elijah - whatever it takes. Are you going to help me?

"Whatever it takes."

"Well, I guess you can also count me in on whatever you two plans on doing," Kai looks at Rebekah, "finding our brother," he then averted his gaze towards his brother, "and taking what is rightfully ours"

The Mikaelson Trio were talking in the foyer, with Rebekah doing most of the talking.

"I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me. You know how I love to set things on fire!" the female pouts to the eldest hybrid.

Kai rolls his eyes to his sister, "quit with the pouty face sister, you know it doesn't work on our brother here", he said with a chuckle

Klaus smirks, "Was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot? Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child!"

"Oh, I am so moved by your new-found sense of fatherly duties towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven." Rebekah replied, annoyance evident in her face.

The siblings' bickering died down when the pregnant werewolf join them, Kai notices the book she was holding has an "M" on the cover.

"The werewolf would like to know what the plan is." Hayley demanded, looking at the three Mikaelsons in front of her.

"Well, that depends what plan you mean, love-- my plan for global domination, my little brother's plan to swept you off your feet, or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world?"

The current eldest teased his siblings, to which Rebekah replied to by throwing a paintbrush from the desk beside her and launching it in Klaus' direction. Klaus catches it with ease before it embed itself in his face.

Kai shook his head, "sister, please, I know he's annoying, but I would appreciate it if you keep off the art materials on your list of 'Things I could stab my siblings with'" he asked sarcastically.

Hayley sighed, ignoring the hybrid's comment about Kai, "The plan to rescue Elijah. You know, the good brother? The one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back?"

Klaus smirks, opening his moth to answer but his brother beat him into it, "In the front, if we're being specific. He likes to watch the life fading from our siblings; eyes" Kai gave him a teasing smile.
