It's been awhile
Since I've confided in my words
Spring came to an end
Yet I've silenced the birds
It's time I return
Putting my trust into fate
After all it's better than the alternative
A life filled with hate
Many things have changed
Chapters left behind
It's time I write a new novel
One to calm the mind
I turned the page filled with hope
Faith in all that's true
But what is faith without belief
Belief that thrives in you
