Chemistry class time, Yayy!! Feel my sarcasm? Good. I was sitting with Selena doing today's assignment. So far, we were doing great. Even though we both suck at this class ( how many times I've said that already? ), we manage to get a good grade. We have out college plans set, we don't need to ruin them now, right?
'' Are you sure we have to mix this? '' – Selena pointed to the bottles. – '' Yeah, at least try. Still, oil and water don't mix '' – I replied taking notes. – '' Then, what's the point on mixing them if they don't mix? '' – Selena gave me a look and I shrugged.
'' Ask the Master '' – I said pointing to the teacher, who was reading a book…Science book. Really? Got nothing else to read? Such a nerd. Selena continued with the work while I rested. This class really gets me stress out.
'' It's done '' – Selena handed me the notebook. – '' You give it to him '' – I handed the notebook back to her. – '' Really? '' – She gave me a look. – '' Yes, I'm too lazy '' – I smiled and she sighed. Poor Sel, She has got love me so much. She stood up and walked towards the master to hand the work.
'' Done, let's clean this up '' – Selena said and I nodded. We cleaned our table and blah blah blah, the important things is that we walked out. – '' We did good? '' – I asked her. – '' hope so, I'm getting tired of that class '' – She sighed. See? I'm not the only one.
'' Hmm, I can see all the frustration in those eyes '' – I pointed to her and she laughed. – '' HA! You laughed! I'm so good at this! '' – I smiled and kept walking with her. School finally ended, for me.
'' You're going to eat lunch with me or you're leaving? '' – Selena asked while we walked inside the cafeteria. – '' I'm eating with you, since I got to wait for you to get out, I promised you that '' – I smiled while grabbing a tray. I wonder what they're serving today.
'' That's what you said yesterday and you left '' – She said. – '' Hey! That 'hoe hoe' was annoying the shit out of me '' – She smiled. – '' Don't worry, he won't bother you today, right? '' – She grabbed a tray as well. – '' Hope so '' – I said.
It was our turn to be served. Spaghetti, very interesting. I never saw these so dry before, even my brother makes them better. Hope the juice is cold and NOT EXPIRED. We walked to our table and Selena began to eat.
'' How can you eat that? '' – I asked her with a disgusted face. – '' I don't know, I've been eating this since I was little, I guess I got used to it '' – She replied shrugging and continued eating. – See? This is why I call my mom at lunch time to take me somewhere else '' – I said pushing the tray away from me and laying back on the chair.
'' How's your Italian? '' – I looked at Selena and she looked at me. – '' I haven't spoken that every since we moved '' – She smiled and I laughed. – '' Wow, nice way to keep you culture '' – She smiled.
'' I wasn't born there, my dad was. I am an American '' – I rolled my eyes. – '' So? You dad teach you to speak Italian, you should never forget that, dummy '' – She laughed and drank her juice.
'' Is it good? '' – I asked and she nodded. – '' yea, for once..it's cold '' – She whispered and laughed. – '' That's a miracle '' – I said grabbing the bottle of juice to open it. – '' bitch, you better not be lying to me '' – I looked at her and she shook her head. – '' Not lying, promise '' – I drank the juice and smiled. – '' Good girl '' – I said and she laughed again.
'' Why do we keep saying that we belong in Italy? '' – Selena asked letting out a chuckle. I shrugged looking through my phone. – '' Maybe because we love it so much we actually want to live there '' – I replied scrolling down my Facebook newsfeed. – '' Dude, Ashley is Prego '' – I said and looked at her. – '' You truly believe that? '' – Selena gave me a look.
'' Well, she's been announcing it every since last week. Her friends have been commenting on her pictures saying stuff like: are you kidding?! OMG!! Biatch inbox me NOW! '' – I said and Selena nodded. – '' I won't believe till I see it ''
'' Whatever you say '' – I said putting my phone away. – '' See you afterschool? '' – Selena asked as she stood up. – '' Yeah, I'll be outside, under the big tree…again '' – I said and she nodded. – '' Alright, see ya later '' – She grabbed her stuff and walked away. – '' bye babe ''
