The church was quiet as Bolu hesitated saying her vows, she stammered every single word and she shook in fear. Austin replied at the end of her vow, saying "I do". She listened to his vow with tears rolling down her eyes, she wept bitterly and fell on her knees at the end of his vow. Everyone was in shock, trying to understand what exactly was happening. Bolu's mum stood up from her chair and walked towards her. She whispered into Bolu's ears as she lifted her up from the floor. "I do" Bolu stammered and said reluctantly. The congregation gave a joyful noise with hand claps and shouts as the Priest calmed the crowd. Lastly, if you are not in support of the Holy matrimony of Bolu Makinde and Austin Oluwanifemi, can I see your hands up? The church was quiet as everyone turned left and right to check if any hand was raised. The Priest sighted a young man, fully dressed in black corporate and suit raising his hands. The congregation started murmuring after sighting him. He stood up and walked up to the alter with his face down, as he adjusted his suit and tie. He lifted up his face as he arrived at the altar.
The Priest glared at him and asked why he approached the altar. The young man said "oh! I just wanted to handover the ring to the ring bearer, he forgot it on the table when I was dressing him up for the wedding" handling over the ring to the priest, the whole congregation felt at ease immediately with a lot of murmurs.
The couple wore their rings and the couple's first kiss took place. Everyone celebrated them joyously as they all headed to the wedding reception to enjoy the real "Owanmbe" of the wedding. But that wasn't the end.
