Chapter 31

Hey guys! Im not grounded anymore but this is going to be bit of a short chapter.

I wake to the bright sun shining through the bars. Finally I think to myself first time in a while I get to wake up on my own!

I slip out of bed and grab my clothes for the day along with a towel. After eating breakfast with everyone else, I go back to my cell to see Ashton still sleeping.

"Ashton, breakfast is ready" All I get in response in a groan. This is going to be harder than I thought! "What do I have to do to get you up?!"

"You realllyyyy want to know?" Ashton asks, wiggling his eyebrows.

"No" I run out of the cell with my towel and clothes in hand into the bathroom.

:::Skip shower:::

After my shower I go back to my cell to see Ashton still laying in bed. "Lazy" I mutter as I walk by him to put my dirty clothes in my bag.

"What was that?" He asks, finally standing up.

"I called you lazy!" I said

"I've been called worse!"

"Like?"

"You're friend!"

"When did I ever say you were my friend?" At this Ashton gasps and puts his hands on his hips. "I know you're faking!" Ashton pouts and sits on the bed. "Fine, I'm sorry Ash!"

He smiles and hugs me very, very tight. "Apology accepted!" He finally lets me go after a couple minutes and leaves our cell.

I lay down on the top bunk and stare at the ceiling. What to do, what to do.... I think for a while and an idea pops into my head.

I hop down from my bunk and walk out the celp, down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Ash?!"

Ashton then pops out from behind the corner and asks what I need. "Go get the boys and bring them to our cell."

"Why?" He asks

"You'll see!" I say and walk outside to find Andrea, Haley, and Ashley.

Haley, Ashley and I might not be on correct terms but I want to fix that. I spot Andrea down by the fence killing walkers and walk over to her.

"Sup?" She asks, putting down her pole-thingy (A/N: I forget what they're called :P ).

"Meet me at my cell in 2 minutes." She doesn't ask any questions and starts walking inside. I spot Haley and Ashley up in the gaurd tower and walk up the stairs to them.

Once they hear me open the doors they immediately turn around. Blood, blood everywhere!

I run over to Haley and catch her before the collasps to the ground. "What the hell?!" I scream.

"We can't do it anymore Veronica! You don't understand!" Screams Ashley.

"You can't do what?" I lay Haley down own the ground and stand up to see the damage. There is a big knife hold in her stomach and a clean knife in her hand. "Know what?! Explain it to me later, we need to get her help!"

Ashley opens the gaurd tower door for me as I carry Haley down the stair and into the prison. "What happened?!" Hershal asks.

"It doesn't matter! Just help her!" Ashley screams. Hershal listens and takes Haley out of my arms and into a cell with Ashley following behind.

Andrea and the boys come down the stairs with worried expressions on their face. "What happened?!" Luke asks.

"I don't know." I all I say before I feel darkness overcome me......
