Chapter 7

I answer my phone, and Dolph keeps kissing my neck and feeling my breasts.

Aaliyah: "Hey...yeah...breakfast sounds good, Nikki...yeah, give me um 10-"

Dolph lays me down.

Aaliyah: "30 minutes, I'll meet you in the lobby."

I hang up and kiss Dolph.

~ 30 minutes later ~

Nikki: "I'm guessing Drew kept you."

Aaliyah: "Um, yeah."

AJ: "You seem stressed."

Aaliyah: "Well, yeah. This is hard."

AJ: "How did the talk with Dolph go?"

Aaliyah: "Weird. He's been so weird lately. He keeps telling me that he cares about me like a lot. And last night, he told he thought I was perfect. And like I don't know, these aren't regular things he says to me."

Nikki: "Oh, this is serious. As I have been saying for the past year, he's into you. He has feelings for you."

Aaliyah: "Or he's just not used to me interacting with guys like that. I think it just has to do with the storyline, which I hate at this point."

AJ: "Or he's jealous, because of how you and Drew interact. He wants to be in his spot, and this storyline is bringing up those emotions."

Nikki: "Wait he told you this last night? Weren't you with Drew?"

Aaliyah: "I stopped by to talk to Dolph, on the way to Drew. But all of this is stupid. He does not have feelings for me, neither of them do. Drew and I have sex, and Dolph and I are just friends, nothing more. I'm just paranoid because I hate lying to Dolph. I've never had to keep a lie up this long, and to like my best friend."

AJ: "I don't think it would be that bad to just tell him. I mean he shouldn't be too upset, you can do whatever you want."

Aaliyah: "Yeah, well I wish, but he would be pissed. And I don't want him mad at me, or to ruin their friendship."

Nikki: "Don't stress yourself out."

Aaliyah: "I'll try."

I go find Drew and ride to the arena.

Drew: "You're so beautiful."

Aaliyah: "Thank you, handsome."

He kisses me and we go inside. We find Dolph, and I lay my head on Drew's side.

Dolph: "So what is the game plan for tonight?"

Aaliyah: "Continue with us sneaking around but a tad more obvious. We'll be backstage, and you almost catch us. Small stuff."

Dolph: "Okay, and we're still a thing kinda?"

Aaliyah: "Yeah, I'll start to be like caught between you two."

Drew: "Sounds good."

I go find some of my other friends and hang out with them in catering. It's nice to finally have a break from all this drama and not think about it, even if it's for a short period of time. Baron pulls me aside.

Baron: "You look very sexy."

He puts a hand on my waist.

Aaliyah: "I know right. Thank you. What have you been up to?"

Baron: "Same old. I haven't talked to you in a while. What's up?"

Aaliyah: "This fun storyline, so everything and nothing."

Baron: "I can definitely take your mind off of that."

Aaliyah: "You think so?"

He runs his fingers through my hair.

Drew: "Aaliyah, you ready?"

Baron: "She's a little busy right now, maybe give us 40 minutes."

Aaliyah: "Um, what's up Drew?"

Drew: "Baron, how about you walk away before I kick your ass."

Aaliyah: "Okay, I'll text you Baron. Drew l-"

Baron: "No, he doesn't control you, nor is he going to ta-"

Aaliyah: "Baron drop it please."

I grab Drew by the arm and we leave.

Drew: "What the hell was that?"

Aaliyah: "I was talking to my friend."

Drew: "Friend? So how many of your friends want to fuck you? Because I know that I don't talk to my friends like that."

Aaliyah: "So I'm suppose to just be with you? This shit is stressing me out, so maybe I wanted to relieve some stress."

Drew: "Okay, well let me make this clear, maybe this isn't just sex to me. So yes I don't love the idea of you sleeping with him or anyone. You're with me, okay."

Aaliyah: "So you like me?"

Drew: "Well, y-"

Dolph: "Hey, can I borrow Aaliyah for like 5 minutes?"

Aaliyah: "Can it wait like 2 minutes?"

Dolph: "Am I interrupting something?"

Drew: "Yes."

Aaliyah: "Um, no."

Dolph: "Good, let's go."

Aaliyah: "We'll talk later, Drew."

Drew kisses my forehead and leaves.

Dolph: "What's up with that?"

Aaliyah: "Hopefully nothing, anyway what's up?"

Dolph: "I just missed you, beautiful."

I kiss him.

Dolph: "You're seriously the most beautiful girl in the world, and you're so smart and funny. I'm just addicted to your body, and your mind."

Aaliyah: "Aww, thank you, babe."

He's definitely acting weird. He kisses me, and I sit down. He pulls me on his lap.

Aaliyah: "Okay, stop being so weird. What's up with you lately?"

Dolph: "What do you mean?"

Aaliyah: "You being super nice to me, the compliments that are much more than just sexual, it's not a normal thing for you."

Dolph: "So I can't compliment you now?"

Aaliyah: "You can, it's just weird to hear you say this stuff, especially when you say like emotionally tied things."

Dolph: "Okay, so maybe I think you should hear all those things. You're an amazing woman. I mean when I said you were perfect, I meant that."

Aaliyah: "Aw, thank you."

I kiss him. Yeah, this is definitely going to start some problems.
