Chapter 8

I go find Drew to get ready for my match.

Aaliyah: "Sorry, I just didn't want him to be suspicious about us, but I know that you're important and I shouldn't have just let him interrupt our conversation and I'm-"

Drew hands me some flowers.

Drew: "Let me take you on a real date, just you and me tonight."

Aaliyah: "Um, can I get back to you on that?"

Drew: "Of course princess."

He kisses me softly. I quickly go find Nikki and AJ.

Aaliyah: "I can't keep doing this. Drew wants to take me on a date, like a really real date. I can't catch feelings for him and he can't have feelings for me."

AJ: "Why? Why are you always so against yourself being happy? You never let yourself get into a relationship."

Aaliyah: "Because with this situation, I can't be in a relationship with Drew while being friends with Dolph, and being in this storyline. It's too complicated."

Nikki: "Or you don't want to hurt Dolph's feelings like he hurt yours. It's obvious Dolph is into you, and you're holding back because you don't want to upset him. I think you go for it with Drew, he makes you happy."

Aaliyah: "It's just sex, that's all. I don't need the complications, and I won't get hurt again."

I leave and finish getting ready for match.

Dolph: "You look hot."

Aaliyah: "Thanks."

Drew: "Good luck, are you ready?"

Aaliyah: "Yeah."

Aaliyah vs Alicia Fox

(Skip match)

Dolph jumps up to distract Alicia and she throws me into him. I turn to check on him and Alicia kicks me in the face. Drew distracts her and I give her a quick school boy pin. The referee is distracted by Drew and Alicia kicks out. She kicks me in the stomach, and hits a scissor kick for the win.

Damn, we are not on the same page.

Drew helps me up, and Dolph pulls me away kind of aggressively. I shrug him off and start walking backstage. I can hear them starting to argue, so I walk over to stop them.

Aaliyah: "What the hell is wrong with you two?"

Drew: "You two? I was helping. I don't know what he was doing."

Dolph: "I don't why you two are so close. What the hell is really going on?"

Aaliyah: "A fucking storyline! Calm the fuck down. Look, I can't do this if you two can separate acting from real life. I value my friendship with both of you, and I'm not letting this storyline mess that up, so get your shit together."

Drew: "Sounds like he is intimidated by me, and I mean honestly-"

Dolph: "No one is intimidated by anything you're doing! I know where I stand with A-"

Aaliyah: "Can you both grow the fuck up!" I roll my eyes and leave.

Nikki: "Let's go to my room." We walk over to her room and sit down.

AJ: "This was the problem you were talking about, right?"

Aaliyah: "Yes. I knew that would happen. And I don't know how to fix it. You see why I can't tell Dolph."

Drew: "Can I talk to you real quick?"

Aaliyah: "Do you have to?"

Drew: "I just want to know why he thinks he owns you or something. Or maybe the rumors about you are true?"

Aaliyah: "Oh, the rumors you heard from his other hoes that don't like me? Or the rumors from the men that are mad I won't fuck them? I'm not someone they just goes sleeping around with half of the roster! I care about the both of you, and it's fucking stupid that you would even say that shit to me."

Drew: "I didn't mean it like that I'm just confused as to—"

Aaliyah: "You know, I'm confused too. About why the hell I'm even doing this shit with you. I'm trying to protect both of your feelings. But clearly no one gives a fuck anyway. This shit is not fucking worth it. So I hope you had fun with that shit."

I storm off and run into Dolph.

Dolph: "What's wrong? Let's go to my room."

I roll my eyes and follow.

Aaliyah: "What's wrong? You and your fucking friend is what's wrong."

Dolph: "I'm sorry. I didn't want to upset you. I jus-"

Aaliyah: "You can just find another friend to fuck."

Dolph: "What are you talking about?"

Aaliyah: "This. All of this is too much. I'm not doing it. I can't keep up with this with you and Drew."

Dolph: "What does Drew has to do with this? He wants to fuck you like every other guy here."

Aaliyah: "Are you not seeing how's he's acting? So I'm just supposed to hurt my friend because you can't make up your mind."

Dolph: "Maybe if you weren't so overly friendly with him, he wouldn't be so damn close to you."

Aaliyah: "Ah, yes, because I'm the only one who's been overly friendly."

Dolph: "You fuck ever new person that walks in that door!"

Aaliyah: "So now, I'm the hoe? You've fucked so many women here, all of my friends have fucked you. But I'm the hoe, right? Shit, since I'm such a slut why do you want to fuck with me anyway?"

Dolph: "Look, I didn't mean that. Can we just calm down?"

Aaliyah: "Nah, I'm good. All of this, the sex it's done. You don't give a damn about me anyway."

Dolph tries to pull my arm and I push him off.

Dolph: "Liya, wait. I'm sorry."

I ignore him and keep walking. I go to my room and grab my stuff.

Dolph: "Hey, give me 1 minute. 60 seconds that's all I need."

Before I can respond to Dolph. Drew comes in.

Drew: "Can we just talk?"

Aaliyah: "No. I'll just go find someone random person to fuck since I'm such a slut right guys? I'll go fuck the next guy I see since that's all I do, right? Neither of you give a fuck about me, so don't come over here acting like you do. Because if you did, you would have never said what you said. My relationship between both of y'all is strictly professional."

I grab my stuff and walk out of the room. I run into Paige. I quickly hug her tightly.

Aaliyah: "Why didn't you tell me you were going to be here!"

Paige: "It was going to be a surprise. But hey girl. So what's been up with you?"

Aaliyah: "How much time do you have?"

Paige: "It's that much? Let's go out for drinks and catch up. You can ride with me."

Aaliyah: "Thank you. So have you seen this story I'm in?"

We get in her car and go there a nearby bar.

Paige: "Yes, and I'm sure you're a fan of the excuse to be with Dolph again."

Aaliyah: "Well, I know you can keep a secret, but I need you to keep a very big secret, okay?"
