The alarm beside your bed sounded horribly off, nothing like the ringtone you had set that morning. A defining barking grated at your ears, a rattling noise and...scratching? You groaned, reaching out for your pillow to try and stile the sounds but instead something wet and slimy hit your skin, licking over your eyes. Moaning in disgust you scrunched your face up, before trying to swat at whatever had managed to get into your room.

A large pair of black eyes met yours, those definitely did not belong to anyone in your family. Had a wild animal broken into your house? Your bed suddenly felt extremely hard underneath you, wooden planks in all the wrong places.
Sitting up with a jolt, you noticed you were were most defiantly not in your bedroom, all around you there were many people briskly walking in all directions and none of them even spared you a second glance. A train station, a large train station, and you were there at what you presumed was peak travel time.

They were people of all ages, races, religions and genders each one different from the rest, but all sharing one thing in common, they all were very determined to get to where ever they were trying to go.

Now this was confusing, had you fallen asleep here? You certainly didn't recognise where you were, it was not Florida. But something about the rush of people and the odd silence of the station tugged at the nostalgia in your stomach, had you gotten lost after a party or something?

That one was quickly knocked off the list, you didn't feel ill or hungover, not even in the sightless. In contrast you felt like
you had just got a long night of sleep, even your head seemed light and airy. Although a strange sensation, It was undeniably good, just like if you were floating in water.

The creature in front of you yapped, pulling you back to Earth, burying it's face into your arms, it was just a dog. A plain old dog, just like the one your neighbours used to own when you were growing up, expect that one used to chase you down the farm lanes when ever you went to retrieve a lost football. The beast beside you seemed quite docile, it's face resembling an almost smile. But wait, you didn't own a dog...

The dog next to you whined, it was chained to the bench you were sitting on, looking up at you with those loveable puppy eyes. It was a huge creature to say the least, it was defiantly some form of hunting dog, it had large pointy canines and a humongous mouth, but from the way it acted it couldn't hurt a fly or so you presumed.

"Are you lost too?" You whispered to the animal, petting it's head, "I'm not quite sure where I am either..."

It was oddly silent for the amount of people in the station, there were no trains to be seen, no smoke, no noise. Just you and the dog, watching the many lives pass by scurrying off to where ever they were going. Just like ants trying to please their queen.

The dog placed it's head into your lap, the metal collar brushing against your thigh. That's it, the dog must have a name or number on the collar, if the owner had forgotten it you could just phone them up. Although you didn't have your mobile with you, and you weren't too sure where the pay phone was...

The tag was cool to touch, gleaming slightly in the dimmed light,

"So you're Danny huh?"

The dog's ears swivelled at the sound of it's name, perking up hopefully, almost curiously.

"I wonder where your owner is Danny...If they don't show up I guess it's just me and you..."

That was when you felt a sudden presence on the bench next to you, a shiver ran up your spine as a hand hit your shoulder.

"That would be me..."

You flinched at the sudden touch, pulling away from the warm feeling and nearly throwing yourself off the seat, spinning around in a flurry.
