The next few days pass by a blur for Shehnaaz. While Sidharth keeps a close watch on her from the secret room every time wishing to be with her, Shehnaaz finds it extremely difficult to cope up in his absence. All the nooks and corners of the house remind her of Sidharth, and she starts questioning her sanity and feelings for him. Each time her heart flutters and nudges her to think deeply about this relation, the brain tells her that they are just friends and she is missing him as she spent the maximum time with him.

In the meantime, Paras Chabra who had earlier hurt his finger in one of the tasks is also taken out and sent to the secret room for medical help. This makes Mahira, who was till now surviving as Paras' shadow, lonely too and she clings on to Shehnaaz for support and survival, blackmailing her emotionally. She starts draining Shehnaaz mentally, further adding to her misery, and Shehnaaz starts losing herself in the process of babysitting her and putting her needs at the back burner. Each night when she goes to sleep, she misses Sidharth and prays for his return. In all this her only solace is Vikas Gupta, the new entrant in the house who has also participated in Bigg Boss 11 and knows the tricks and trades of the game, well. Vikas and Shehnaaz form an enduring bond wherein Vikas finds a young sister in her and she finds a guide in him.

Each morning when Sidharth wakes up, he first looks for Shehnaaz in the screen and when he eventually gets to sees her face, sometimes happy, more often sad and lost, a certain warmth engulfs his soul and he tries to convince his mind to help recover his body fast.

In the middle of the week a task comes, wherein, housemates must compete for winning letters that have come from their respective homes. Reshmi, shrewd as always, ensures that Shehnaaz does not get her letter. She shreds her letter to win a spot for captaincy with Shehnaaz looking on as her letter gets torn to pieces. Her shoulders slump and while Paras laughs, Sidharth bangs his fist on the bed and says, 'Yaar, mujhe Sana key pass hona chahiye tha yaar'.

Paras looks at him surprised and says, 'Bach gaya bhai tu. Uske paas hoka to tujhe paka deti.'

Sidharth gives him a stern look and snaps, 'Apni apni soch aur niyaat hai bhai. Mujhe cunning logo sey innocent log zyada pasand hai. Tujhe agar lagta hai ki Sana pakati hai to tu off hai, kyunki, Sana pakati nahi hai. Uski innocence mujhe surprise karti hai ki who kitni different hai bakiyo sey.'

Paras, 'Bhai tu chir kyun raha hai? Mujhe bhi woh cute hi lagti hai.'

Sidharth gives him a sly smile and says, 'Bhai tu mahira pey hi focus rakh, mein hoon Sana ko sambhal ney key liye. Tu tension matt ley.'

Paras understands that Sidharth is possessive towards Shehnaaz and makes a mental note of using this knowledge to his advantage later in the game.

Paras and Sidharth are then given the power to give tasks to the housemates from the secret room. In one such task given by Paras, Shehnaaz slips and falls on the floor. Seeing this Sidharth's blood boils and he feels like bashing Paras' head against the wall and goes ahead to give him a strict warning to stop doing such nonsense and says , 'Tera dimag karab hai kya Paras? Sana ko lag sakti thi! Dikh nahi raha tujhe ki who upset hai, to fir yeh natak kyun kar raha hai ?'

Paras casually tells him, 'Chill Bro, tujhe kya hua hai? Tu pyaar vyaar mein to nahi pad gaya na Shehnaaz key? Pata hai flip marti hai na kabhi bhi kisiske upar?'

Sidharth snaps, 'Bhai, tu Sana ko chod, mahira ko dekh ley. Mein kiske pyaar mein hoon woh tera lookout nahi hai par tu jab sey nikla hai ghar sey bahar tab sey Mahira Vishal ke saath chipak key behti hai.'

This irritates Paras to no end, but he decides to keep his mouth shut not to escalate things further.

Later that night Sidharth goes to the washroom to smoke and in the calm and loneliness he tries to align his thoughts about Shehnaaz. He feels restless being away from her and seeing her in so much trouble. Suddenly, his mind feels heavy and his brain questions him the reason for his misery. He feels confused and miserable and somewhat angry not being able to process his feelings for Shehnaaz.
