This one is ridiculous and out of touch but I have similar ideas for a tv show version of it.
Hailey's POV
I was sitting by Marko on the beach watching the waves go against the sand. Lightly cuddling in his colourful jacket breathing in his scent and enjoying the scenery.
But sadly the scenery wasn't what I was thinking about tonight. No I was thinking about how the hell i was going to tell him that to me he dosent exist or at least didn't exist.
You see I was just a set designer at universal studios who was placed on the new lost boys ride that came out in honour of the tv show.
I was normally around the animatronics, doing touch ups or fixing up the cloths or the scenery. It made me spend a lot of time with Jason Patric, Corey Feldman, Jamison Newlander and Chance Michael Corbitt.
But if course Billy Wirth, Kiefer Sutherland and Alex Winter. I was of course working on their old selves and I was only born in the 21st century after all.
And then I helped a lot with the show. Keeping everything similar but slightly different.
"Everything all right," Marko asked bumping my shoulder, noticing I was distracted.
This is you're chance, tell him. "Umm, actually....no," he readjusted his position.
"What's wrong?"
I took in a deep breath, "I'm going to tell you something that will make you question a lot of things,"
He pecked my lips and cupped my face leaning in. "Don't worry, just tell me,"
"Marko, um, I come from a different place, like reeeaalllly different, and I have to tell you that you're a fictional character from a movie,"
"Haha, funny. Pull that one in Paul, he'll-" "laugh for hours on straight till morning,"
Marko looked a little stunned that I was able to finish the expression, so I continued.
"Then listen to my heartbeat then," His faced went down and concertantes on the sound of my heart. In a healthy slow rate, I wasn't lying.
I took my hand in his and cupped one cheek. "Marko please look at me,"
"Do you have proof?"
"What?"
"Proof, something that makes this real?"
I looked around thinking of how I could proof that I was a huge part of remaking a whole movie that he was in.
Then it came to me, my phone! I had interviews, the soundtrack and episodes downloaded. Behind the scenes of the ride and the series.
I grabbed the rectangular box out of my pocket and Marko tilted his head not knowing what it was.
I switched it on and decided to show him the ride first so he wouldn't get weirded out by someone playing him.
"Okay before we start this, you have a scar between your pointing finger and thumb on your left hand," I told him remembering and old script of a moment where it got sliced. I added the touch on his animatronic.
"How do you-" "Just watch,"
"Hey guys, I'm Katherine Kelsey here on the behind the scenes of The lost boys ride set to open on Halloween horror nights in universal studios in honour of the musical and tv show coming out soon. Let's take a walk!
That girl starts to walk in on a set that seems to be grandpas house. "So this is the part of the ride where we go through grandpas house right before we meet grandpa himself standing right here,"
She walked forward motioning for an animatronic of grandpa. "He is an a-1 figure and he also greets you at the beginning of the ride to warn you of the 'evil in this town,' right before you step in on the wrecked Big Dipper carts,"
The screen cuts to a seen in the ride that seems to be the cave with a familiar face. "So here we are in the cave with set designer Hailey West and Marko,"
The video showed me and a Marko animatronic, an a-100 to be exact.
"So can i just ask a bit of how you got these together and what was the hardest thing to do in your opinion,"
"Well, first off we kind of had to redesign everything that was in the movie from scratch since we didn't have some of the costumes used in the film and neither did we make the jackets because the cast bought everything. So recreating the outfits were a pretty big adventure like the custom painted boots here were meant to resemble the ones Alex Winter wore in the films,"
The camera moved to his boots and up once again to his chaps and back to focusing on all three of us.
" Though the earrings were pretty easy to remake since we had taken these in a record since it was kind of an initiation thing, but for the hardest part was probably the jackets, they kind of all had a thing that had a problem like Marko's patches were a pain or David's coat was too heavy,"
She took the microphone back to her mouth, "but that isn't the star of the show is it?"
"No, it isn't. You see that here if you look at Marko he is wearing his human facade but if we turn him in his facial bones, teeth and eye colour will change in like a millisecond,"
The Marko animatronic's face changed and showed his vampire face.
I pulled down the phone and looked back to Marko.
"When is this,"
I sigh "2020"
"2020, wow." Marko looked surprised.
"Yes and no," I said a little doubt in my voice.
"What do you mean?"
"Well we had this whole COVID-19 thing and it delayed everything and work got shitty and than god for that breaches without this David and Star would've been two ugly fucks, we got newer better looking, younger people cast,"
Marko laughed, "Who plays me?"
"I'll tell you after we get back to the cave and then the guys ask the same question,"
What do you guys think of the new cast for the show, I liked the Tyler Posey version of it tbh.
