Hello readers, my name is Jenny and I am the writer of this fanfiction.
Touken Ranbu and all of the characters used in this story (outside of my original character) all belong to DMM and Nitroplus.
The story's plot/setting is a mixture of my experiences with the anime (both Hanamaru and Katsugeki), the game, the musical/stage plays, and my own interpretation of the world that they live in. With that being said, the universe will not be as accurate to the original setting but, I will do my best to keep the touken danshis as close to their original characters as possible.
The story follows our main character who is a brand new saniwa named Tsubaki Sato. Saniwas in this story are individuals with spiritual abilities who spend most, if not all, of their lives training in order to fight off the History Retrograde Army. You can also say that in this story, our main character will not be aging as fast as she should be due to her spiritual manifestation, which allows her to age slowly. This is just a plot point so that she doesn't have to die from old age.
This story will shuffle from slice of life to pure action and angst. There will be no romance or love interests, so I deeply apologize if you were expecting some type of love interest to form between the main character and the swords.
