Chapter 5

"Dad she's gone isn't she?" I say in the middle of hiccups.

"Yes she is and I am really sorry"  he says holding back a tear.

"Dad! How can you be sorry when it is your wife who does leaving us huh?!" I'm getting angry and my hands start digging into my palms looking for something to take out the anger in.

"Honey! I know she left us she didn't mean to! It was her fate! If you can't accept that then what are you gonna do when I die?! I tried to comfort you multiple times but you always end up screaming or shouting at me! I can't do this if your acting like this! Just because I am comforting you doesn't mean I don't feel sad or broken! 17 years! 17 God damn years and she leaves me" he falls down and starts crying.

"Dad I-I didn't mean to I- " and my vision starts blurring up. Oh shit.

Thomas Pov (her dad)

"Honey! Are you okay! Can you hear me!" I start panicking. What have I done. Who am I to think I can scream at my daughter like that.

"SHIT!" I let out a frustrated scream. I take out my phone and start dialing the first person on my speed dial.

" hey Adrian." I say calmly so he doesn't suspect anything.

"Hey Thomas what's up" he says.

" um.... belle... she fainted.. I don't know but she won't wake up". I say pacing back and forth.

"What do you mean she fainted?!"  He screams through the phone.

" Today was her moms birthday and I asked belle if we should scatter her moms ashes. She agreed with it but when she went upstairs I heard her cry. And she just kept on going off on me I coudnt help it but screamed at her telling her it isn't my fault..then she started stuttering and she just fainted"

"YOU What?! Did you forget she kept on fainting multiple times on her moms funeral because every time anyone mentions her mom she couldn't help herself and she thinks it her fault? No you don't remember because you weren't there you were too busy? Right! Just what I thought you weren't there but I was! Now take her to a freaking hospital before she freaking wakes up and faints again!"

"Am sorry I didnt know all this."

"Of course you don't because YOU. WEREN'T. THERE."

As soon as he ends the call I carry her to the car and put her in the backseat I rush to the hospital.

I use the back door and place her on the bed and the nurse take it from there. What have I done?! I'm so stupid. Why didn't I think of this! She's just 17!

I sit on the chair and see adrain arrive. He looks angry.

"Where is she?" He asks angrily.

"She's in the Emergency room they're checking what's wrong with her" I answer.

"JESUS!" He slams the wall. "You know that she can't handle loosing her mom and you make it worse by yelling at her and make her think she made you disappointed do you know how that feels. Do you know how she feels when she comes back from school you aren't there when she wakes up you are there. Loosing her mom is one thing but you not being there for her is another." He yells at me. He usually isn't this protective of her I don't know what happened.

"I try to be there for her but wor-."

"Work? After all this you care about work?!" Not your daughter that's sleeping in a hospital?!. Be there for her god dammit! Say it like you mean it" he cuts me off.

My phone starts ringing and I look at it. Shit it's work! Adrian looks at my phone and give me a glare. I give him a pleasing look.

" Um.. Hello sir" I say picking up the phone
