I get all my stuff in my locker and grab all my stuff for the next two classes. As I begin to walk to first period. Zach walks up to my side.
"Hey baby." -Zach
"Hi." -Me
"Something wrong...?" -Zach
"No." -Me
"Then stop acting like such a bitch." -Zach
"Zach, you know what, there is something wrong. You. You don't make me happy or feel sparks or anything and I think I need to break up with you." -Me
After that he starts to walk away. Thank God, that was easier than I thought. Now I have to worry about how to explain this to Jack.
I walk into first period, which is Biology.
"Mrs. Adams, thank you for joining us." -Mrs. Hale
"No problem. And trust me, I'm not here on my own accord." -Me
I hear a few snickers and one or two full on laughs.
"I will excuse that extremely rude comment because it is the first day of school. But the next time it happens, which hopefully it won't, I will be forced to give you a detention. And please see me after class." -Mrs.Hale
"Okay."- Me
"Please take your seat by Mr. Gilinsky." -Mrs.Hale
I look up and Jack waves me over. I smile at him and head over.
"Hey" -Me
"Hey, beautiful." -Jack
He kissed my cheek.
I feel the heat rising up my neck. I never blushed at Zach's compliments.
"Hey, will you eat lunch with me? I broke up with my boyfriend and he will be there and I want you there." -Me
"Uhh... I don't know. I don't really fit in with that crowd." -Jack
"I'm the head of the group. No one is going to say anything. And even if they did, I wouldn't care what they think." -Me
"Okay." -Jack
I smiled at him and he returned the favor. The rest of class flew by with Jack and I talking the whole time. As we are about to walk out, I remember that I have to talk to Mrs. Hale.
"Hey, will you wait outside? I need to talk to Mrs. Hale for a sec." -Me
"Yeah sure." -Jack
I walk to Mrs. Hale's desk after everyone left and I sat in the chair on the side of her desk.
"Yes, Mrs. Hale?" -Me
"Are you okay? I had you for chemistry last year and you were never late or rude." -Mrs. Hale
"Sorry, Mrs. Hale. I just broke up with my boyfriend and I have a date with a new one tonight and I lied to him and told him that my boyfriend was my brother and it has just been a very stressful morning. Especially with first day jitters, ya know?" -Me
"Okay Analisa, but don't let it happen again. I will see you tomorrow." -Mrs. Hale
"Bye, Mrs. Hale" -Me
I walk out to see that Jack was standing right outside the door and he probably heard everything.
