Michael's POV
JereBear: Hey, sorry about last night. I wasn't thinking and things got out of hand.
Micha: It's totally fine
JereBear: Really?
Micha: Yeah, totally
I left the conversation at that, but my mind wouldn't stop racing.
I just had to ask.
Micha: I have a question
JereBear: Yeah?
Micha: Can we... be a thing?
Micha: I've liked you for a very long time and it just didn't feel right, knowing what happened last night, to leave you not knowing
JereBear: I had no idea you felt this way
JereBear: I guess we can give it a shot?
I felt a wave of joy come over me as I read his text
Micha: That's great! Do you want to come over to my house later?
JereBear: Sure, I can be there by 2?
Micha: That's fine with me
JereBear: Alright, see you then!
Jeremy's POV
I couldn't believe it, my best friend for 12 years just asked me to be his boyfriend! I have to get ready, it's already 1:30.

"I still can't believe you actually said yes," Michael was saying, but I wasn't listening. I was too busy looking at him, trying to think of the 37th reason why he is the best person ever. He suddenly stopped talking and looked at me, smiling.
"I'm going to hate myself for this later, but..." He leaned toward me, our lips crashing together. I kissed back, grabbing the back of his head so he doesn't fall over. We started sloppily making out. Keep in mind it was the first time we'd ever kissed anybody, not counting the Pocky game. It was awhile before we finally pulled away for air.
"I think I need to go" I said, getting up from my copyrighted blue bean bag chair
"Why?" He asked in a curious-but-also-wtf voice
"I just need to process this, actually having a boyfriend, I mean we can meet at the arcade tomorrow at 3, though" I offered
"Consider it a date" He said, opening the basement door for me
"Alright, see you tomorrow" I said, walking out of the basement.
