Introducing My Best Friend

   Hi. Nathan Hunter here, and I have a huge crush on my best friend!

Unlike some guys, my best friend is a girl. Well we've basically known each other since we were 12. Her parents moved into the company estate one day and of course, I and my twin Nathalie ran up to help the newbies. We became friends with her instantly and our parents became friends too.

Her name is Annabella Morris, but she likes being called Anna... Never Ann or Annie. She almost killed me when I called her that.

Anna and Nathalie were the first to hit it off in the friendship. I was just her best friend's brother for a looooong time. Until her 13th birthday and she thanked both her best friends for making the party awesome. I have to say, I was happy and shocked at the same time. I was her best friend. My older brother Nate didn't let me here the rest of it. I mean... I was just her best friend.

But of course as time went on, I started feeling... Odd around her. Like, I just wanted to be with her 24/7. Of course she was closer to my sister but our friendship was different. I remember the day I actually found out what I felt for her. I was about to do one of my numerous YouTube videos.

"Well... It's been, what, 5 years? And I have finally figured out what I've been feeling for Anna. I'm in love with my best friend and there's nothing I can do about it. I don't want to ruin our friendship so I'm keeping it to myself. But deep down, I want to know if she feels the same way about me. *sigh*. Everything is just confusing to be honest".

I turned off my camera and got up from the couch to get water. As I turned round, I saw my sister. She had heard me. She was standing there, her mouth open in shock.

"You what??!!!" she practically screamed at me

"Nathalie, calm down"

Pause.

My twin sister was one of the people that believed best friends should never have feelings for each other and if they do, they should cut each other out of their lives. Which is why I was shocked when she said,

"You have to tell her"

"Where's my twin sister and what have you done to her??!" to say I was shocked was even an understatement

"Nathan, Anna is our best friend" like I don't know that "and if you have feelings for her, you just have to tell her!"

"I can't." I was too much of a sissy back then

"Why can't you" she crossed her arms. That's one of the ways to know when Nathalie was mad at me

"She has a boyfriend Nath".

Yeah at that time, she was dating this dude. Austin was his name. Total a$$#ol3... That's just jealousy speaking.

"Oh.. Yeah.. Right.. André"

"Austin" I couldn't help but laugh. Nathalie didn't like him either. Something about him being a jerk? I don't know.

The house door was slammed open, and in walked my best friend aka the girl I'm in love with.

"Hellooo Hunter house!!! I'm in your fridge if you need me" Anna said, going straight to the kitchen.

"The b!+ch didn't even say hi" Nathalie says, storming into the kitchen with me sluggishly walking at he back

"Actually d!¢k head I did. To your entire house" Anna mumbled with food in her mouth.

"Can you guys shut the fu©k up please??" my older brother Nate came to the kitchen to get his water bottle. He had started going jogging to impress a girl.
