"Satine may I just that I love you the moment l laid eyes on you" said Christian caressing my cheek
"I felt the same way" I reply talking his hand in mine
"I want to be with you forever" said Christian says before kissing me
"Are you mad" said a booming big familiar voice me Christian Marie Toulouse turn to see Harold with an angry and horrified expression on his face
"The duke owns the deeds to the moulin rouge" said Harold
"Harold we weren't" I say but I'm interrupted by Harold shouting
"I saw you together" Harold shouted
"Harold haven't you ever fallen in love with someone" I ask "let me guess you haven't because you don't know what's it's like to be in love" said satine

Flashback/Harold POV
I'm in miss stone class in my freshman of high school singing in the choir and I notice a new student come in with her older sister miss stone introduces her as Isabel and she takes her seat next to me she very beautiful and I can't take my eyes off her she seems like a polite and sweet wholesome girl and I mentally make a note to myself to get to know her as my sister heather hugs who looks like Isabells sister how I remember her it was heathers friend Ashley from middle school
"I can't believe I haven't seen you in so long" said heather happily
"I know it's been too long" said Ashley they took their seats next to each other and talked until I noticed Isabel take her seat next to me
"Hello" I say introducing myself
"Hi" Isabel says shyly
"Why so shy you'll make plenty of friends here" I say trying to calm her nerves
"I don't know I am rather a shy person" said Isabel says before looking like she remembered something "where are my manners my name is Isabel" said Isabel
"Isabel" I say "I know" said Harold
"Yes but what's your name" Isabel
"Harold zidler" I answer
Out of flashback
"We were together after two months of friendship and getting to know each other a little bit I told her that I love her and she told me she felt the some way when we were at an Ice cream parlor and towards the end of our junior on her birthday I go a beautiful heart locket with a picture of us inside it" said Harold says talking a necklace out of his pocket "she loved it and never took it off we would have been together today if nothing terrible had happened to her one day" said Harold
"What happened Harold" I ask
"She had consumption" said Harold everyone gasped before Harold explained more of the story

It was the end of our senior year and we were practicing the song "blue sky" which would be sung at graduation in two days and miss stone told us to skat sing I noticed a sad like on her face so I tried to make her laugh by purposefully falling out of my chair
"Woah" I exclaimed falling out of my chair and Isabel laughed
"You are a goofball you know that" said Isabel
"Yes I know" I say before the ball rang "ready for math class" said Harold
"That's your best grade not mine" said Isabel
