Matturse became a father and he has celebrated it shortly with the other necromancers. His people had so many questions about many stuff. His journey to the Magic Force island, the control of the ghouls, his baby, and Matturse answered them patiently.
During that time, Matt went in a nearby shop to buy lots of food for his people. He even bought baby food for Shenai. The army had lovely conversations between them and loved the meal's taste.
Once Matturse was finished, he began cleaning up the space where he used to have his spell books. He turned around and saw Miyuki with Shenai in her hands, approaching him.
"So, you once used to live here?"
"Me, Greatsaw, Sharah and... well, it doesn't matter anymore. We used to move from place to place, so all the places were only temporary. But if I had a choice to live somewhere right now, it would be this hidden lake" -he explained.
"I see. This place is really beautiful, and your past lifestyle reminds me of mine. I used to be moving from one camping spot to another, after running away from the Japanese family and living like a nomad"
Matt noded.
"Anyway, I'll go out to get some air. I'll see you soon, my boy" -he added, stroking the forehead of his baby.
He made his way out, looking at all those bodies of the ghouls he killed.
"I wish I did not have to kill them... they deserved a life like all of us"
Matturse let out a heavy sign and turned to go back inside. On his way, he noticed something white on the grass.
"Huh?"
He picked it up and it looked like a letter. He saw from the back of it that it was for him and from someone named "Luo Maige".
He went inside to talk with his wife about it.
"Honey, do you know someone named 'Luo Maige'?"
She raised an eyebrow at him.
"No, love. I have never known anyone with that name. But, if that letter is for you, it means that the person who sent it knows you, right?"
He took a look at the outside of the letter again.
"Well, it could be a fan or something, since it was sent like a few days ago. I'll read it anyway"
They went together to sit at his small library space to read the message.
" 'Dear Matturse, it's Margrethe...' Oh my god... "
Matt paused.
"Margrethe? As in, your previous girlfriend, who sacrificed herself?" -Miyuki asked him.
"Who else? I just don't know how it can happen. I thought she died and this message was sent for me recently. I'm sure it's not a trap, it feels so real!"
"Let's just keep reading"
" 'I'm sending you this message from a cloudy place on the sky. I don't even know where exactly this is. My spirit is trapped in a thing that is called a square cage. I tried to open it many times, but it won't budge. The only thing that gave me a little hope is someone who came through the cage. He said he is a guardian angel and that he can help. He told me that you should come from down there to free me. Make the wish to come and offer your necromancy power from the sky. After that, two guardian angels will escort you to me...
I know this might be too much to ask from you and I heard you moved on and... even became a father. The same guardian angel told me everything and I'm happy for all of that. But you are the only one who can help me and the only one I can trust on this one.
