It was the end of the day and Matturse's army were all gathered in the destroyed temple of fire. The necromancers were desparately trying to think of how to activate the fire in it, with no solution.

"This is taking too long, what if we're just wasting our time?" -Miyuki asked.

"What's do you mean by that?" -Phantom spoke.

"Look around you. We've been trying for hours to activate the fire of the temple, but nothing seems to work"

"I wish it wasn't like that, but my wife's right. The longer we stand here searching without progress, the stronger my father gets" -Matturse replied.

The army stood there, watching the world fall apart without any hope. That was, until a familliar figure stepped into the crowd.

"I may be able to help" -their catacomb door guard said.

"You... you're still here?!" -Matturse answered in confusion.

"That I am. You can't imagine how many times I wanted to escape and bring backup troops with me. I had these opportunities while you were all asleep. But I kept rethinking about my desicion and every time, I was holding back. Because I finally realised, you guys are not a threat to this world after all, but a hope to save it"

The others glanced each other uneasily, until Matturse decided to speak.

"So, you said you may be able to help. How exactly are you planning to do that?"

"I overheard your conversation about these ghoul things been weak to fire"

"Go on?"

"See this bottles on my suit? They are called Molotov cocktails"

"So, you brought us drinks for a party after we defeat Luke?" -Nela said in a sarcastic way.

The guard narrowed his eyes at her.

"Okay, sorry! I'm just trying to give a positive vibe"

"These things contain flames, throwing them into an area will cause it to extract fire. Now, I'll give these to you, on one condition"

"Oh boy, time to sit and negotiate" -Miyuki spoke and rolled her eyes.

"I know it's a lot to ask, but I wanna become a necromancer. I want to be one of you"

The others looked at each other and after a while, Matturse has spoken.

"Alright, your wish is yours to keep"

"You can't be serious!!"

"Are you for real?!" -some voices said.

"Yes, he is. No offence, but if I were you, I'd agree with him instantly. This man showed us loyalty for now, and it would only be unfair to refuse helping him in return" -Phantom stepped in.

"Thank you, Phantom. Now, as I said, we will help you, but you need to be absolutely sure about this desicion. I'm giving you the warning now, it's very risky and it can kill you if sonething goes wrong, literally"

"I'm okay with it. Let's do this"

The leader shared looks with the others and noded to them.
They began walking directly towards the necromancer catacomb, as Matturse was leading the way. Of course, it was a wrong place to be at that time, but the necromancers needed every possible advantage. They faced a small number of ghouls, which were taken down with ease, until they made it to their dungeon.
