If you don't like Electro Swing... Well it'll be every chapters background music, so yeah.

Let us start with the basic of the basics, the tone and mood. Simple, right? Eh... not really.

Depending on what kind of situation it is, and the characters at hand, the tone and mood should correspond with it. For example, if it is sex between lovers who are having a romantic night together, it should be soft and caring. On the other side, if it is something like rough hate sex, they should be less inclined to be gentle.

However, for the first example, what if the characters are more on the kink side? Sure. Simple enough. Change up the situation a bit with prior comments. Do not just through rough sex, degrading, bdsm, etc. In randomly.

I have seen fics like this, where it is a couple having sex and loving each other and someone being called a "slut" randomly. If the character is a masochist like Kirio, Azuka, Yoshiharu, or Darkness, sure. The partner could be trying to turn them on and be awkward about it.

But if your mood is "Sweet and loving," do not add "Rough and forceful."

Now let's step outside of fanfiction to yourself. What kind of mood are you in when you write smut? I know personally, I prefer to be in a more horny mood. Why? It's smut.

However, if I am mad, I might write a fic with hate sex, more rough, etc. Utilize your emotions.

I will be honest, I can get bored writing smut. Still do. At the moment I have been working on a fic for about a week now. Yes, a one-shot smut I could easily write in a day.

Why? Because I have ADHD and I started playing with a water bottle for 10 minutes? Well, that has happened before, haha. But also because I am not enjoying what I am writing.

Enjoy what you are writing. If you do not want to write caring and loving, do not. Go write whatever you want to at that moment in times.
