Guilty as charged your honor! I have done a number of these:
Tounges battling for dominance: Please stop- never do this- I typically see this is M/M fics, and really, just no. It makes M/M seem just like a fight for dominance. Also, that's not how kissing works???
You don't fight for dominance. I'll get more into this later, as kissing can written really fucking hot. But basically, it comes off as too aggressive and just not how things work.
Shaking their head really fast/clearing thoughts/etcetera: I just picture a wet dog shaking and nobody likes that...
Rolling their eyes to the back of their head: No gonna lie... it sounds hot. Sounds. But when you picture it you see The Exorcist.
Exaggerated movements: Like whipping glasses off, stroking their beard well thinking. Nobody does this. Trust me. Also don't ever do the glasses thing, those fuckers can cost $500 (CAN for me).
