{:} BESS'S POV {:}

I begin to make my way down the street, walking toward the address Izzy gave me. I reach a small house, and it's address matches with Izzy's. I notice a bright blue jeep in the drive-way, as well as a sheriff's car, the jeep is what I found odd. I walk up towards the house and knocks twice on the door. A tall, skinny, guy with beautiful hazel eyes opens the door.

"Um, who are you?" he asks with a genuinely confused look on his face.

"Sorry, I'm Bess Wayland" I say holding out my hand for a hand shake and he takes it. "I'm your exchange student" I say as he contiues to stare at me with a puzzled look on his face. All of a sudden, a older guy walks up behind him.

"You must be Elizabeth Wayland, I'm Noah Stilinski and this is my son Stiles" he says gesturing towards the boy then, putting his hand out.

"Please call me Bess" I say as I shake his hand. He gestures for me to come in and I follow him. Stiles didn't follow.

"You can stay in my son's room" Mr. Stilinski says pointing towards a door.

"Oh sir, I can stay on the couch, I don't wish to cause a disruption" I says pointing towards the couch.

"Whatever's most comfortable for you" he says shrugging. I walk over to the couch and lay down on it, pulling out my book.

"Whatcha reading?" Stiles says as he walks over. He picks up my feet, sit down, and then lays them back down on top of him.

"The Art of War by Sun Tzu" I reply, not removing my gaze from the book. "My sister recommended it to me" I contiued.

"Isn't that on like a college reading list" he says. I lift my gaze from my book and place it onto my stomach.

"My sister seems to think that its a fundamental book full of amazing wisdom and advice" I say, "I find its boring and I prefer to wait for the movie" I contiue, picking the book back up, folding the corner and putting it back into my bag.

"What kinds of movies do you like" he asked, genuinely interested.

"I love the Avengers, Star Wars, and definently all of the classic Hitchcock horror movies" I say, noticing his grin get wider and wider.

"We are gonna be great friends" He says grinning from ear to ear and picking up the remote. He turned on the television and began to flicks through the channels until he found one playing Star Wars. He looks at me with a sarcastic look which makes me giggle.

"Woah," I think, "When have I giggled". I seemed to get lost in thought cause when I look back at Stiles, I notice that he's staring. " Everything ok?" I ask, confused.

"No, I mean yes everything's fine" he answers getting flustered and I giggle at his response.

{:} STILES'S POV {:}

I glance over at Bess, who's too entrapped in the movie to notice. I actually look at her, I mean actually look at her. I noticed how her short, wavy, blond hair fits perfectly tucked behind her ear. How her eyes aren't green but also not blue and how they have speck of gold that flicker with the light. How she has freckles that dust across her perfect skin but only on her cheeks and nose. How her face is perfectly round but her chin has a slight indent in it. I noticed how she's only wearing all black and leather which you would automatically assume would make her look  dark and unapproachable but she pulls it off as lighter and more playful than that. Just when all this is flickering through my head, she notices me staring.

"Everything ok?" She asks, confused.

"No, I mean yes everything's fine" I answer. God, I sound like an absolute idiot.
