!EDITED AND REWRITTEN!

Alessia's POV:

I laugh as my mother opens another dam of tears, "Mom, stop. I'll come visit a lot."

"Take care sweetie, I'm going to miss you so much," she pulls me into another hug.
I lost count after 48.

"I'll miss you too mum. Now give me a smile." I give her a smile and wipe away her tears.

"Call me once you reach, okay? and please, make sure you eat at the right time." She says as she gives me a smile.

"Okay mom, I love you." I say as I watch the taxi driver haul my luggage in the car trunk.

"I love you too, sweetie." She smiles and blinks away her tears.

"Mom! Not again," I let out a laugh.

"Sorry, sorry. You go, I'll be fine." She nudges me to the open car door.

The taxi driver, Fred- he told me his name earlier, smiled at me.

"Bye mom, I'll call you as soon as I reach." I kiss her cheek and get into the car.

She closes the door for me, "Drive safe," She says to Fred.

He nods his head and I laugh, "Bye,"

Fred starts the engine and I watch as my mom waves at me. Smiling, I wave back and I watch her fade in the rearview mirror.

I fish out my phone from my jeans pocket and text my roommate, Kelsey Hark who could also be called Kelly.

Me (8:53 AM): OMY, see you soon x

"When will we reach?" I yawn.

"It'll take about five or six hours. I'll wake you up when we reach ma'am," He nods his head.

I shrug, Kelly knew this guy, I'd be fine and with that thought in my mind, I close my eyes and welcome the darkness.
--------------
"Kelly?" I open the door with the keys my roommate gave me a few weeks back when we signed the lease.

I walk in with my luggage and close the door, "Kelly! It's me, Al."

"Alessia!" I hear a muffled voice come from one of the rooms. "Be with you in a minute!"

I collapse on the couch kept in the living room and look around. The furnishing wasn't done, Kelly wanted us to do it together, though I doubt she'd be happy with my taste.

We had a coffee table in front of the couch, a bean bag, and a flat-screen Sony TV stuck to the wall with a shoe cabinet right next to the door.

Right behind the living room, we have the kitchen. It's fairly small with all the necessary necessities. The apartment has two bedrooms with attached bathrooms.

I look at the clock hung on the wall, it's 2 PM. My stomach grumbles reminding me that I haven't eaten anything for lunch.

I'm about to get up and look for something to eat in the kitchen when Kelly walks in squealing, "Alessia!!"

I grin but quickly groan in pain as Kelly tackles me into a hug, "I've missed you so much!"

"I've missed you too," I mumble. "Now, for the love of God, get off of me." I wheeze.

She laughs and gets away from me, "You need to start dieting," I joke.

She smiles sheepishly and sticks her tongue out, "I've got a body to kill for,"

I roll my eyes. Kelly is right, she does have a body to kill for. Kelsey Hark was blessed with reddish-brown hair that tumbled down to her shoulders and her curved figure was always clad with the most fashionable outfits.
