Author's Note: Sorry this took a little longer than normal, hopefully I will update soon ~

We walk out of the house after we package the cookies in pretty boxes. My mom locks the door and she starts walking towards the psycho kids house, but I stop her. She looks back at me, confused. "Why are you stopping?" She asks.

"Why don't we save his house for last?" I ask.

She smiles at me. "Why? Saving best for last?" She wiggled her eyebrows as she laughs.

"Sure mom, saving best for last," I say with a sarcastically. "Of course we're not saving best for last! He's a stalker mother." I sigh and run my hand through my hair. "We should go from the furthest house and come back towards our house, since our house is the last one on this street."

"Fine, I guess that would work." She gives me a smile and starts walking again. This time heading for the first house on the street.

There are only six houses on our street , including ours, so we don't have to go far to get to the first house. And oddly they are all on the same side of the street, the other side of the street is just woods. There are a lot of woods in the town I guess. I shake my head, moving on from my thoughts and gesture for my mom to go first, she frowns at me but still goes to knock. After about a minute someone finally comes to the door. "Hi, we just moved in down the street, you know the last house, and we wanted to say hello. We made cookies." My mom says holding out a box of cookies. The lady looks at my mom and slowly raises an eyebrow. She takes the box and smiles. My mom pulls me forward and says, "This is my daughter May, and my name is Layla."

"Thank you for the cookies, it is so nice to meet you." She says. "My name is Lilly, and I would love for you to meet my daughter Blossom and my son Jin, but unfortunately they aren't home right now. And I'm sorry to say that I must be headed out also."

"Oh that's fine, sorry for taking your time." My mom says, "Hopefully we'll see each other again sometime." The lady nods and closes the door.

My mom looks over at me, "One down, only four more to go." I say heading towards the next house. I look towards the house and smile. It looks so welcoming.

I knock on the door, and a girl that looks about my age opens the door. She has long blond hair, hazel eyes, and flawless skin. "Hello," she says in a sing song voice. She smiles and turns around, "Mom the new neighbours from down the street are here!"

How did she know we were new neighbors? I frown for a moment but seeing her bright smile makes me want to smile and I'm not sure why. I look up and a women about my moms walks into view "Hello," she says, in a nice soft voice, much like her daughter's.

My mom smiles, "Hello my name is Layla, and this is my daughter May." She gestures to me and I smile and wave.

"Hello," I say, "We made some cookies for the neighbors." I hold out the prettiest box.

"Well hello my name is Alyson and this is my daughter Lana." Alyson says. "My son Yoongi isn't home right now, but hopefully I can introduce you to him next time."

Lana smiles, but when her phone buzzes, a small frown forms on her face. She looks at her phone and then at her mom. "Hey mom, it's time," she says, her voice serious.

"Time for what...?" She starts to ask, but then realization fills her face. "Oh right," she glances at us. "Sorry, but we have to go, maybe we could have dinner sometime to get to know each other? We can schedule this later?" My mom nods and Lana takes the cookies.

"I'll see you around May." Lana says shutting the door.

"They seem nice, I like them." I say turning towards my mom.
