Hii, 1st story ever on Wattpad!! I have written plenty before and I have devious plans for this book. Give it a chance, it's like new food! Who knows? Maybe you'll like it. ;)

The sirens blare. My head snaps up from my dozing off while painting. What's going on? I'm confused and tired, I slowly stand up and glance out my window.

Wolves.
All over, fighting, snapping their jaws, and growls rumbling through the forest.

'Why would a pack attack us? We are one of the weakest packs in the world,' my wolf, Hera, wonders.

Before I could answer I hear my best friend Kristine yelling my name. I snap my head to the right to see her burst through my bedroom door.

"Come on Artemis! We need to fight! Alpha says Olympian Pack is attacking!" She yells dragging me by my arm.

Olympian Pack? What? They could slaughter us with a flick of their wrist. Why attack us, one of the weakest packs in the world, the Bluegrass Pack? Our numbers of two hundred or so wolves will be slaughtered by their thousand or so wolves.

"What?! Why?!?" I yell at Kristine, still following her down the hall.

"I... I don't know! We need to fight, though. Hurry up!" she yells at me from the front.

"We need to surrender, we will be wiped out!" I yell at her.

"I'm not the Alpha, am I? Don't you know I already knew that? C'mon!!" Kristine snaps.

We fly out the front door of my house into the fighting. I shift into my slender dark brown wolf and jump at the nearest intruder.

'This is useless,' Hera says in my head, 'We will be killed.'

'I know, but try Hera. Fight!' I command her.

Though, in seconds we were pinned. I looked around frantically and see my young Alpha looking around also. His eyes are widened, realizing half his pack is probably dead in the five minutes we've been battling.

He let's out a bark, and the packs stop and stare at his big, grey wolf.

He shifts back and slips on some sweats.
"Stop! We surrender, we are weaker, stop fighting," he bellows.

The remainder of my pack stops and slinks towards my alpha. The wolf on me backs off and let's me go.

'Thank Goddess!' Hera chants.
I breathe a sigh of relief and look down at my dark brown fur, only spotting a couple gashes. Not too bad.

As my pack faces the huge Olympian Pack, we see their pack parting, letting through the biggest wolf I have ever saw. The wolf was definitely male, and had dark grey fur, almost black. His growls echoed throughout the whole area as he approached my Alpha.

Hera whimpered. I was frightened, too.

The wolf shifts back into a very handsome young man, probably a little older than my eighteen year-old self. He threw on some shorts before my eyes could wander lower from his handsome face.

"Beta Gabriel," my Alpha greets. Beta? He's got power seeking from him. I would have guessed Alpha.

"Andrew," the Beta replies, not respecting the fact that Alpha Andrew was an alpha.

My Alpha brushed this off, as if he knew the Beta could shred him.

"My Alpha will be here soon. He will not take nicely to you or your... Minuscule pack. Alpha is very angry with you, Andrew. You should know better than to trespass on our territory looking for a Luna," the Beta tells my Alpha like he was a child.
