>> Akansha's POV <<
We were back from work. A tiresome yet interesting work. Though I had done it before, but it still felt like a new experience to work as a personal assistant and to work with Mrs. Goel. It had been a year since I left my old job but going back to work again in a different place felt good. It was already 6:30 and I was expecting Anki any time soon. Though everything was the same as it had been a year ago... yeah same my inner self spoke to me. It had been a tough time for me. Moving to Goa was the best decision my family made for me. They had given up every single thing for me, our house, dad's business, he left it back at Ranchi and started with a fresh start over here selling off everything over there, our society who blamed us for everything, who blamed my family for everything... every disgusting memory... we left it back in Ranchi.
Giving up on my past I stood up from my chair where I was seated. I left my cabin to get over those disgusting and annoying memories and headed for a cup of tea. My ultimate solution for everything was always a cup of tea. I used to make mine on my own, not because I didn't trust the makers rather their taste was milky. So I made my tea upon my own.
After making my awesome, obviously according to me because if anyone in this world could drink this shit I would shower that person with crores of rupees because this thing was a real shit according to my family but heaven to me. I was roaming around in the office, just then I found the most amazing jaw-dropping scene in front of me.
Ankita. And. Jai. Talking. To. Each. Other.
Was I seeing illusions????
No... no... no... I was seeing them and that too for REAL!!! And they were talking with each other while walking towards Mrs. Goel's cabin.
How in the world did these two meet each other? How??
I gulped down the whole glass in just one go, and obviously burning my tongue in the process of doing so, and half walked half ran into the office.
Just when I entered the office both of them looked towards me.
"How the hell did you two meet?"
"I guess you mean 'Hello!'" Jai spoke in a clear flat 'duh' tone.
"No. I really mean how did you both meet?"
"Annu your every spell became true" It was Anki this time.
It's really gonna disgust me if they start completing each other's sentences. Already.
"What are y-you talking ab-about?" I was clearly confused with her half happy half mischievous tone.
"Guess who got replaced with Rohan?" She came up to me.
"Don't you dare tell me it's Jai"
"Of course it is Miss Sinha. You don't seem to sound happy with your sister working with me."
"Does anyone care to explain what's happening here?"
We all turned around to see Mrs. Goel kind of eavesdropping our conversation.
>> After about an hour <<
Mrs. Goel ended up laughing so hard with the story which was narrated by the three of us which none of us found that hilarious as Mrs. Goel did. She started having that hysterical laugh which ended up making us laugh too.
Everything started to fall in place as if the universe was demanding to see me happy. And with this thought, I felt happier than ever.
On our ride home I started bombarding Anki with questions about Jai. I'm gonna tease her so badly, she's going to remember this day for the rest of her life.
