Gay Best Friends

Chapter 1

Alex's Pov

Do you know how it feels to leave everything behind and start a new life? Well I certainly do. My name is Alexandra (Alex for short) and in year 6 of elementary school, I had to move states away to my new home in California. I thought it was gonna be hell for me, but it was actually really nice and refreshing. You see, before I moved from Florida I was an outkast and everyone hated me.

When I moved here to California, I met my best friend Payton. He just randomly came up to me one day and invited me to the beach. Now you might think, "Oh they're totally going to go out. " But actually we're both gay. I haven't came out to my parents yet, but Payton has. I've came out to quite a few people that I trust including Payton, of course.

Payton's Pov

The summer before the 6th year of elementary school I had been a loner with not many friends. Then one day this girl that I had never seen before was walking around. So I decides to go talk to her. When I went to go talk to her my gay-dar started going off. I could tell that she hasn't come out of the "closet" yet. I can understand her feelings. She doesn't know what her parents are going to think of her for being the way she is.

When I went over to her I had greeted myself to her and her family members. I had asked her if she wanted to go hang out at the beach while we talked to get to know each other better. By the time we got there I had figured out everything about her and started to tell her my history about being bullied for being gay and that I had come out of the "closet" a long time ago. I am glad that we became best friends even though I had just met her that day.
