I thought I wouldn't understand even if I turn 50. But as I age, I realized that Mom probably got tired, and she decided that letting go of Dad is the best decision she'll do. Well, that decision pretty much changed my life, and but it's nothing to the changes in hers. The things Mom had sacrificed to raise me alone.

"...Dr. Kang, I have decided. I will give my eyes to my Luna."
"Are you sure, Mrs. Allison?"
"You have a daughter too, Dr. Kang, and if you're in my shoes, you'd pretty much do the same."
Not able to take it in anymore, I pushed the door open. "No, I won't accept it, Mom!"
"Luna!"
Mom ran to me and hugged me, "It's the best option we have! We can't let you go blind! I can't live knowing you have turned blind and I did nothing!"
"Mom! Mom you have done everything!" I am crying too, "Just just don't do this."
"Mrs. Allison, I think its best if we talk to Luna about it."
I looked at Dr. Kang, "I won't do it! I won't accept my mother's eyes doc! I'd rather die instead!" I pushed them, took out the needle from my left hand, and ran outside.
I could hear mom calling me, but I did not look back.

I sat on the long bench I usually lay down on to. The sky is a hazy color of yellow and orange, since it will be dusk soon. I stared at the darkening clouds, and my eyes stung. My eyes, like those clouds, will be black soon... Dark. Sad. Scary. I covered my eyes with my right arm, and sobbed. I don't care if people would see me. In fact, I don't care about anything at all.
I don't know how much time had passed with me lying on that position, but the moment I removed my arm from my eyes, it's already dark.
"I thought you're going to sleep here," a voice from my head's direction came. I got up, and saw the guy seated on the next bench. Obviously, he was watching me.
"How long have you been there?" I asked through narrowed eyes. I was too friendly with him this afternoon, but now I don't like anybody near me.
"Woah, did you just get angry at me?" he smirked.
