Claire's pov

I'm currently in my room still thinking wether or not I should go.on the one hand my mind tells me not to go and in the other my heart tells me to go so right now I'm a confused mess.

I was still thinking and I didn't even realize my mom had entered the room."hey sweetie". I jumped and screamed but she cooled me down saying"sweetie,relax it's just me" I kept my hand on my chest and sat on the bed and my mom say beside me

"What happened dear,you seem worried" "that's because I am" I said "well what happened" "promise me you won't yell at me" "I promise,I won't now what happened" "mom,a boy asked me out to a party with him" when I sayed that she smiled a smile that reached her eyes and for a moment I thought her face would melt or burst

"Like a date,why didn't you tell me?,have you bought a dress?,should we go to the mall and buy one?are you....." She stopped bombarding me with questions when she saw me looking her like she had grown two heads.

"What?" "Mom,it's not even a date or anything" "your joking right" she said "mom I'm damn serious" I said giggling at her facial expression "then what is it then?" "Mom someone in school is hosting a party tommorow and another guy invited me,period"

"So what do you need help for then" she said and I could see she was disappointed "well I'm nervous" "go dear do whatever your heart wants" she said smiling "but mom.......". I didn't finish my sentence but she hoped out of my room

And I knew someone who could help with a situation like this

I dailed her number about two times before she picked "hey girl" she said squealing "could you come over I'm kind of in a tough situation here" "ok,expect in the next 5 mins" "ok" and the line went off
