" God.. Finally! Time for bed! " I said, yawning and stretching.
" Yay...! " JJ said, not excited.
" What's wrong, Jayden? " Lazari asked her.
" I don't sleep at night. I'm used to "oi, pick this up — put that down. Clean it up! Get me more beer! You're the reason she left us" bla bla bla. " JJ said, impersonating, I'm guessing her father?
"Oh, I'm sorry. I never really knew my dad. My mom called me a monster then she hung herself on that tree in the forest." Lazari said.
Ouch. That must hurt hearing that. "Who wants to see if we're doing the same thing tomorrow and see if we can go to the mall, that's a few blocks away from here?" I asked. The girls looked at me like I was insane.
"No, we only get given one day and then we start the training the day after. Also, Jayden, I'm sorry but we have to get up at the crack of dawn. Try to get a bit of sleep." Lazari said.
"Oh" I said to the “one day only” bit.
Jayden on the other hand looked emotionless almost completely. "I won't be able to unless I knock myself out by over working." She said, not coldly but not warmly either.
