She sat on the ground of her cave, staring at her phone and feeling anxious once again. It was the third time that week, she waited... and waited.

This is ridiculous, you're not a teenage girl, she thought.

But that's how she felt every time she was around a certain blonde.

Or got a text from her

Or a call

Or an invitation to team up

Or when she interviewed her

Or any time she saw her flying around.

Curtis observed her from across the room while waiting for the computer load some important information he found just a few minutes ago. He thought Kate would be excited about it, but her mind seemed far away.

- Are you here with me yet? Or away thinking about you know who?

- Stop. Is not like that at all!

- Yes, it is!

Kate looked annoyed at Curtis and suddenly, felt her heart jump when her phone made a beep.

- Did she finally answer you?

- Shut up!

Curtis smiled, knowing that entire act was just that: an act. Kate became really shut when it came to talk about her love life or even her crush on someone. It was like trying to go through stone, but he enjoyed teasing her, it was fun.

- But did she or not? I'm curious. – He said as he stared at Kate.

- Yes, she did it. Are you happy?

- Own, I knew that's why you almost jumped from the floor...

- It's nothing. Go back doing... whatever you were doing. I'll be back soon.

Kate suited up and walked away, leaving Curtis with a knowing smile on his face.

She got to Wayne enterprises really fast and as soon as she went up to the balcony, she saw her and her heart jumped from her chest.

There she was, in all her glory, with the wind messing up her beautiful blonde her, dressing that suit she loved so much, she missed the skirt but that wasn't important at all.

- Hey, Batwoman!

- Supergirl. What can I do for you today?

That was lame Kate, she thought and smiled awkwardly. Ok, Curtis was right; she behaved really weird and didn't recognize herself at all when she was near Kara.

- Lex Luthor came to Gotham a few days ago. We have a reason to believe he's working with someone from Leviathan. This person lives here...

- Oh, that jerk!

- Yes, that jerk. – She smiled and Kate felt her heart would melt at any second - I didn't want Brainy to hack your system, so I was wondering if you could help us.

- Sure, whatever you need.

Lame again Kate, she thought. She felt like going nuts at this point, it was like trying to bring some sense to herself but she couldn't.

- We just need the security footage of Gotham's national bank from 3 days ago.

- Curtis can hack into their system and get it for you.
