-Reader's P.O.V-

Frisk and I both turned around and saw that Monster Kid from before come to us and he seemed a bit nervous.

"Monster Kid!" Frisk cheered happily.

"Oh, hello there!" I greeted and waved at him.

"Yo, I know I'm not supposed to be here, but... I wanna ask you something." He states.

"Go ahead! Ask us anything." Frisk tells him.

He stayed quiet and seemed really nervous.

"Man, I've never had to ask anyone this before... Umm... Yo... You both are humans, right? Haha." Monster Kid nervously asked.

"Yeah, we're both humans. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier Monster Kid." My little sibling apologized.

"Man! I knew it! ...Well, I know it now, I mean... Undyne told me, uh, 'Stay away from that human.'" He explained.

"But why? We didn't do anything." I asked.

"Yeah...but like...I guess that still makes us enemies or something." The kid continues and he seems kind of upset.

'That's kind of unfair.'

"But I kinda stink at that, haha. Yo, say something mean so I can hate you? Please?" He pleads, sort of.

I heard Frisk sniffle a little.

"I'm sorry Monster Kid, but I'm afraid we can't. You're not a bad person and neither are we really. We can't just insult you or something, it'd be rude, don't you think?" I asked as I placed a hand on Frisk's shoulder.

"Yeah, I couldn't say something mean to my friend." Frisk agreed.

"Yo, what? So I have to do it?" Monster Kid questioned and seemed a little pained.

'Please don't tell me he's gonna try to hurt Frisk.'

"Here goes nothing... Yo, I... I hate your guts!" He yells at us.

'Is that it?'

"Man, I... I'm such a turd. I'm...I'm gonna go home now." Monster Kid states and starts to run back to where he came.

Before he could tho, he tripped and was just barely hanging onto the ledge with his body, as apparently he didn't have arms. Frisk and I both gasped, especially since Undyne ended up showing up too. Me and Frisk looked at each other and nodded and ran to Monster Kid and we both quickly pulled him up so he didn't fall.

Monster Kid looked pale, as if he had seen a ghost, and also probably because he could've just died. He looked at Frisk and I and then at the Undyne lady, and stepped in front of us.

"Y...y...yo...dude... If... If y-you wanna hurt my friend... You're gonna have to get through me, first." The brave kid declared.

It was hard to tell Undyne's expression, but I had a feeling she was caught off guard. She backed up and soon ran off, and Monster Kid sighed and turned to us.
