I wake to voices , " oh good morning mills , I got you a blanket last night " Dixie said " oh thanks , who are they " " hey Millie " Sadie said. " hi Sadie " ," y'all know each other " Dixie asked, " yea we met on the bus " I replied, " hello I'm here to " benji said . " Hi benji " I say laughing " now for real who are they " I ask ." I'm Jeyjey benji's boyfriend, I've heard a lot about you " a short curly haired boy said shyly , " hi , I guess you already know my name " I laugh . " I'm Addison " a tall brunette said , " hi " I reply, " I'm Sophia and that's avani " a red head said pointing to a curly headed girl , I waved . " I'm griffin, Dixie's boyfriend " he says " ok hi , but you better treat her right " I say sternly , he nods " I'm Bryce, that's Caleb , gaten , jack , Wyatt , Jaeden " he said nicely.
" I'm Noen , Abby 's boyfriend, do I need any lecture " he says jokingly, " no , I like you " I say while getting up to grab breakfast. I saw a boy wearing black overalls and a red and white striped long sleeved shirt, with white and red vans. " Wait a minute, excuse me dude " " excuse you , this dude has a name " " ok , what's your name " " the name is Finn, i though you were going to class " he said teasing from yesterday. " That was yesterday, catch up " " as much as you would like me to , I'm not " " shut up " " make me " he then walked away smirking, I roll my eyes . I see Sadie walking over , " you were talking to Finn " " oh , yeah " " he never talks to anyone " " oh , really" " He's always breaking hearts left and right " " oh " . " And he's also on top in every class , but he thinks he's to popular for us now , so , apparently he doesn't care about girls " , she sighs after .
" Right , the only thing I'm worried about is I need job " " well I do know a place that's hiring , are you up for anything " " yes I really need a job , I'll do anything " " anything " " anything " .
Time skip
" Expect for this " I say , " well , what do you mean , what's wrong with this job " . "Ugh , room service , so what does this mean I have to clean everyone's dorm , li-like a maid " , " It's the only job available " . " I just "- I say before she cuts me off, " what is there something wrong with being a maid , my mom worked as a maid , are you saying there's something wrong with that " . "No no no, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being a maid , it's just - I just moved here , I'm the new student . If anyone finds out I'm working , their all gonna laugh at me " I say worriedly, " Millie, it's not that serious, nobody really stays in their dorms , I mean I never see the maid that cleans my dorm " . " yea , but what if someone finds out and tells everyone, I just moved here and I want to have a good reputation " I scoff.
" Millie, you're gonna be fine , but if you don't want the job , I'll just give it to someone else " she says walking away . " No ! I need this job, I really do , I don't mind " I say pleading, she stops and says ." perfect ! Look ,if you don't want anyone to find out that your a maid, all you have to do is clean everyone's dorms in the morning , everyone's out eating breakfast , so nobody's gonna see you " . I sigh in relief, " ok , I really hope no one does " " you start tomorrow , first thing in the morning , ok " . " Tomorrow, got it " , she giggles and says " perfect! Just meet me here in the morning and I'll get you started , see ya " , and walks off . " yea thank you so much " , I can't believe I'm working for house keeping , not that I'm a ashamed, but , I know some of the girls can be pretty mean , hopefully nobody finds out my secret.
Time skip
I got back to the dorm , nobody was there , so I wrote in my diary.
Dear diary,
I can't believe that I am working as a maid now , I'm really nervous , but I really hope that I do a good job at it , living in this place is really expensive. Hopefully this job will help me pay for stuff .
Then right as I was putting it up I heard the door open , I squealed and shoved it under the covers, then Dixie came in . " hey " she said coming in my room, " hi " I say nervously, " oh my gosh, I hope you aren't mad , me and the girls decorated your room for you " she said. " You did what " I say surprised, " ok , so when I came in yesterday and I saw that you weren't unpacked , I was gonna do it then to surprise you , but I didn't want to wake you up " .
I look around and smile , " wow , w-woah , you did a good job Dixie , you know me very well " " I know right , although it would look better if it was black and white " . " You did a really wonderful job " , " what's that your holding " she asks . " What's , what" I say as I start to panic, " what's , that in your hand " , I look down , " oh this , i -it's nothing , n-nothing at all ". She smirks and says " oh no way , is that your diary " she laughs after, " yes " I quickly squeak out . She sighs " I used to have a diary, but not anymore " , " right " .
I better put this away, I'll just put it in my drawer, I go to where she is " oooh, we should watch a movie, you should go get us some snacks " she said. " uh , snacks " " yea , could you get us some popcorn or something ? Hurry , I've got some really good movies we can watch " She said. " Uh , yea sure I'll go get us some snacks from the store, real quick " I say , oh well , that was really nice of her to help me decorate my entire room. She didn't have to do that , I get there and see a food stand " hello , I'd like to order, some snacks " I say . Then I hear crying, I follow the noise and find the one and only Finn Wolfhard " what's going on over here " I ask . " Nothing really I just turned down her love confession " he said smirking, and the girl kept crying and then ran away.
" Huh , they weren't kidding when they said you were a heartbreaker, why would you just make a girl cry like that " I say annoyed. " Well , I don't tell them to cry they just do it " he said as if I was dumb , i roll my eyes and say " seriously, you should be more considerate " . " I've heard that one before " he laughed, I rolled my eyes again " ugh , you don't even care do you " I say very annoyed by now. " uh , let me think about it....no " he said, " if I see you make another girl cry , I'm gonna - I'm gonna"- " you're gonna what " he cut me off . " I'm gonna " I sigh , " say it " he said smirking " ugh , you know what I don't have time for this , I need to go get snacks " I say annoyed. " Alright princess " he said teasingly, " don't call me that " I yell , " I can do whatever I want " he said .
I walked away and went back to the stand and nobody was there still , I'm just gonna go to the dorm . I get there, " hey dixie, I'm really sorry I couldn't get any snacks " " Dixie, what are you doing " I gasp when I see her reading my diary. " Are you reading my diary " , she just laughs, why would she do this we have been friends for forever .
