Andreas' POV

Suddenly we hear voices behind us yell, "WHO'S THERE?? COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!"

Shit.

I glance over at Koya and then back at Javi who both have shock evident on their faces.

"What are we going to do?!" I whisper to them.

"I don't know," Javi says as he scoots closer to me, our hands touching slightly. Which even in the midst of all this makes me blush a little.

Okay, so I don't think I'm going to make it out of this. I can't even stand.

"Guys, you can go on without me. Leave me here and run," I say completely serious.

"No you fucking prick, get on my back I'll carry you. We got in this together and that's how we're getting out. Understand?" Javi grabs my shoulders.

I make eye contact with him, "I'll just slow you guys down, you need to go."

The voices yell in our direction once again, "NOW!"

Koya smacks the back of my head, "You're the only one I have left you asshat, we're not leaving without you."

"Alright, you asked for it," the voice says. All of a sudden, I hear gunshots and I cover my head.

Umm, how come I can't see any bullet holes? Did I die already?

Javi looks up at Koya and I, "Are you guys okay?"

"I'm fine," I say while Koya nods.

"I'm going to check it out," Javi utters and turns, beginning to peek around the corner.

I grab his arm and look at him sternly, "Be careful."

He briefly looks at my hand then nods, "I will."

I let him go and immediately he gets up and disappears behind the corner. I want to turn around and look at him, but I can't.

Stupid leg.

"That should take care of 'em," the voice echos.

"Um, guys..." Javi hesitantly calls out.

"Yeah?" I respond.

He comes back around the corner, "It's just the TV."

"You're joking right?" I say as I maneuver myself into a more comfortable position.

Javi sits back down next to me, "Nope, I don't even know how it's working right now."

Koya snorts, "What's on then?"

"Some really old western movie," he replies, as I realize I can hear voices still talking in the background of our conversation.

Koya looks at me and puts on a dramatic face, "So we were worried for nothing. 'Guys, you can go on without me. Leave me here and run.' Aren't you a heroic one. Risking your life and shit."

This time, Javi lets out a small chuckle.

I look at him with an annoyed and embarrassed expression and bury my face into my hands, "Leave me aloooooone."

Both Koya and Javi burst into laughter. Eventually, I join in too, enjoying the lighter atmosphere. As the laughter dies down, Javi scoots down to where my wound is.

"Let's get your leg all fixed up. We wouldn't want you getting an infection or something, right?" Javi says as he smiles at me.

I smile back, "True true, bring it on!"
