When the receptionist went to put in the order for the wedding cake and left Kagami and Kuroko alone again, Kagami turned to Kuroko, whispering, "So like... how did you find out that you were... expecting?"

"Kagami-kun..." Kuroko brought his hand to his face.

"Oh come on, I know you want to talk about it." At least, Kagami hoped so because he wanted to know.

Kuroko let out a sigh. "I know you'll keep asking me regardless of what I say. But I'd rather not talk about it here."

"Then let's go get vanilla milkshakes after this." Kagami insisted.

Kuroko's face soured and he brought a hand up to cover his mouth as if he might get sick. He shook his head. "That would be no good... Kagami-kun, that was how I found out."

"Over a vanilla milkshake?"

"Seijuuro-kun and I were out getting milkshakes and when I had the first sip of mine, I got terribly sick." Kuroko let out a sigh and looked up at Kagami. "Since Seijuuro-kun worries easily, he had me see the family doctor and we got quite the surprise."

"I bet..." Kagami nodded. "It seems impossible until it happens."

Kuroko shook his head. "If I really think about it, there were indicators long before the milkshake."

"Indicators? What do you mean?" Kagami leaned closer.

"I don't mean about the baby exactly, but rather the trait." Kuroko mindlessly flipped the pages of the catalog he was holding. "A few months ago, I changed a bit and had this undying need to be with Seijuuro-kun."

"Like no matter how many times you did it, it was never enough..." Kagami swallowed. That was exactly how he felt with Aomine last week...

"Excuse me, Kagami-kun?" Kuroko looked up at him, his brow slightly furrowed.

Kagami shook his head and smiled. "Sorry, go on."

"I'm not really comfortable talking about this, Kagami-kun."

"Right." Kagami cleared his throat. "Sorry, Kuroko."

Kuroko set down the catalog and waited for the receptionist to come back with the confirmation papers.

Kagami tuned out the rest of the time at the bakery. All he wanted to do was go home and look up more about this trait. He was sure it was all in his head, but he just had the feeling that he was experiencing the same thing as Kuroko had been. If he was... how was he going to tell Aomine? Would Aomine leave him? He didn't think Aomine would do that, but he had such an unsettled feeling. He took a deep breath, trying to calm down. He hadn't even found out anything yet. He was surely worrying over nothing.

[AN: back with an update finally!! I know where I'm going with this story now (I think!) What do you think?? Is Kagami worrying over nothing?? Thank you for reading!]
