Kagami was sitting at home, laptop in front of him. He'd been staring at the search results page for at least ten minutes but hadn't selected a single article to read. There wasn't much on the omni trait itself, a few medical sites, but what bothered Kagami more were the religious sites that came up. Several of them were calling people with the omni trait spawn of the devil just because it was something new that science hadn't been fully able to explain yet.

Kagami took a deep breath and opened a medical site that described the trait. It didn't have much information on how this trait was obtained, whether it was inherited or something developed over time, but it did provide a list of common symptoms for people with the trait.

Increased feelings of loneliness when not with partner. Increase in appetite. Extremely increased sexual drive.

He swallowed as he read the highlights. Surely it was just a coincidence that he'd been needing Aomine so much lately. He always has a large appetite anyways, so who could tell the difference? The site explained how there weren't specific physical indicators, but rather addictive behavior was more of an indicator.

Kagami took a deep breath. He couldn't panic, that would just make things worse. He scrolled to the bottom of the page where it said that if someone or their partner was concerned about having the trait, the quickest way to find out is to take a store-bought pregnancy test. For more detailed, extensive results, seeing a physician is recommended.

"What are you looking at?" Aomine's voice sounded behind him.

Kagami quickly shut his laptop and tossed it on the couch next to him. "Nothing. Just looking at the gift registry for Kuroko's wedding."

"Oh? Then I should look with you, we'll be buying a gift together, after all." Aomine walked over to sit next to Kagami.

Kagami snatched the laptop back in his hands. "No, I didn't see anything good right now, so... Are you hungry?" Kagami quickly changed the subject.

"No, it hasn't been that long since we had lunch." Aomine said it so casually, but it made Kagami more nervous. Was his appetite really growing? Aomine leaned closer to Kagami. "You don't look so good." He put the back of his hand against Kagami's forehead. "Are you alright."

"I'm fine..." Kagami tried to be strong, but the smell of Aomine being so close... He really was starting to feel needy again. His face turned red. "M-maybe I am getting sick, you probably shouldn't touch me."

"Really?" Aomine would of course respect Kagami's wishes, but after how often they'd been intimate, he found it surprising.

Kagami shook his head. "No, I really want you to touch me..." He clutched his laptop to his chest. "I-I just... Something Kuroko told me made me a little worried."

"Did Tetsu say something about us?" Aomine stared at Kagami, brow furrowed.

Kagami shook his head. "No, nothing like that." Kagami set the computer down and turned to face Aomine directly. "I think I..." he couldn't get out the words, especially not when Aomine was so tenderly caressing his cheek. "I need you, Aomine."

Aomine leaned in, gently pressing his lips to Kagami's. Kagami kissed back, knotting his fingers in Aomine's hair.
