The Prince invited his love out with his family, a few days before the Solstice. She was nervous, freaking out really. She wanted them to like her, to approve.
They met early, on a Saturday morn. To go out to brunch with his mother, aunt, brother, and grandmother. The couple exchanged their gifts; for her, a beautiful necklace of two hearts joined as one, for him, homemade tea and a necklace engraved with their love.
The meal was, to say the least, nerve racking and over all, successful. His family adored her and she was finally able to relax.
They were in love. Happily, in love.
