TWO SOULS ONE HEART

Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2
  After a hot shower, I changed into my pj's and tucked myself into bed. It was actually too early to go to bed but then I just needed to rest properly after a long, busy weekend with my mom and the very early flight, plus the whole meeting just made me tired. Like I just needed that break.

I watched movies and slept a lot. I mean it was what I needed anyways. But it was suddenly interrupted by my best friend Lola.l, my face lit up in happiness and anytime I see her at my house in the evening it has got to be some interesting news and surely she would be sleeping over. Its never ending fun with her.

Lola owns a juice bar. The largest and well known in the whole of Seattle. Her smoothies and the rest of the drinks are to die for. She's a complete workaholic. I remember how she started so small, back when we were in school. A few of our mates laughed at her but of course, she knew what she was doing. And fast forward to seven years later, its the most popular juice bar. Not to think of the tequila shots she adds to her juice if requested for.

"Lissssaa!!!" Lola screams my name across the living room. Since I had already seen her in the drive way, I decided to wait for her in the kitchen. And when she finally saw me, the hug I received was was huge one. "okay little tiger, that's enough, whats the excitement about?" I asked with cocking a brow at her.

"Well, I just got the biggest deal of my life. I am to supply drinks to the football team". she said with her eyes almost bulging out of her socket.

"What football team Lola?" I asked in shock."
'Real Madrid sis". she replied with so much excitement, I joined her in screaming in so much excitement, I jumped on her and hugged her so tight. I was really excited for her. I mean its the biggest. because a football team like Real Madrid ain't the regular and its an international team at that. This is superb.

"okay tiger, I also closed the biggest contract of my career!"
I said smiling.

"No way!" she replied with her mouth open. "Yes sister and it is with the biggest billionaire company in the whole America that just opened their biggest branch here in Seattle. 'IVORY ENTERPRISES LIMITED. And I will be pimping that whole ivory tower.
From bottom to top!.' I said while I gulped a glass of red wine. "Wow I am completely happy for you sis. I  am totally glad we are both doing well in our careers."  lola replied happily.

"Let's toast to that"  and we both hold up our glass and clink it together to make a toast of our celebration.

"But guess what Lola"

"What?" Her expression becoming serious, I glared at her and she quickly composed her face.

"I think Mr Ivory might have a hit on me or something. He was just staring at me and we were just staring at each other basically." I said blushing.

"But it was just a stare" Lola countered "it couldn't mean anything" She added.
Lisa face palmed.

"seems you both admire each other. Please promise to fill me in on how it goes. I love stuffs like this. Billioniare boy in love with the millionaire girl. That would make the billboards you know" Lola said winking at me.

"You nasty human!" I said throwing a spoon at her.

She dodged luckily and laughed heartedly. All I could do was blush stupidly. In my head i know that I actually have a thing for him. If only Ivory would feel the same.

After hours of excitement and eating too. We went to bed drunk and laughing still. Although we showered before heading to bed and wore out favorite nighties and discussed a bit more before sleeping off. 

By morning, Lola had already left the house and when I discovered I had overslept, I just took my time to prepare for work. I called my driver to get ready to drive me down to work in the next 30 minutes. In less than 45 minutes I was at my office already.
