(Maya's p.o.v)

I woke up with my throat burning and eyes hurting. I looked around however didn't really recognise where I was. I looked to the side of me and found Farkle next to me with his arms wrapped around my waist his hair was messy flowing in every direction.

I broke free from his grip and padded across the floor and went into the bathroom. What I saw wasn't pretty: my hair was a bush that sat on top of my head, my eyes and tip of my nose was tinted a pink colour and my cheeks glistened and you could see what direction my tears went. I turned around so I was sideways facing in the mirror. I put my hand on my stomach and just looked.

(Farkle's p.o.v)

I woke up, all the memories from yesterday washing over me. However, 1 detail didn't make sense: Maya wasn't next to me.

I decided to get out of bed and found my bathroom door ajar. Maya was standing sideways looking in the mirror her hands on her stomach; she didn't seem to notice me so I wrapped my arms around her small waist and nuzzled my face in the crook of her neck at first she was startled but soon realised it was me. I reached and grabbed her wrist moving them from her stomach and instead held her hands.
"You're perfect Maya," I whispered lightly into her ear. She looked down at the tiled floor and I noticed fresh tears making their way down her cheeks. I turned her around and put my fingers under her chin lifting it up slightly so I could look into her mesmerising blue eyes. "Bullies are bullies because their jealous and want you to doubt everything. You have nothing, absolutely nothing to be insecure about okay?"
"Okay," Maya sniffed in response. I pulled her into a hug and just let her cry. I picked her up bridal style and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I walked slowly into the kitchen and repositioned her so her legs were wrapped around my waist and that I had a free hand. I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and filled it with water before giving it to Maya. She gulped it down and placed it one of the counter tops nearby.
"You should've told me."
"I'm sorry. I wanted to but didn't want to put my problems on you and I couldn't tell Riley because her top priority is Lucas."
"I know," I sighed, "Is that why you changed your appearance."
"Eventually all the messages got into my head and I wanted to change I wanted to stay with you and ditch Riley and the rest but I couldn't do both," she mumbled into my neck.
"Riley has already ditched us. I want you to know that you can always come to me if there is a problem. I understand with both problems Lucas used to be my best friend and now he's always in his own world; I was once bullied to and change my looks because of it and it wasn't Lucas who helped it was you. You're the one who told me it was okay to be different and that I had friends with me. I want to help you, Maya. You're definitely not fat you have a gorgeous body and you are gorgeous; don't forget it."
"Thank you." After a few minutes of silence, with her in my arms, she lifts her head of my shoulder. "Do you have a shirt I could change into?"
"Yeah. Go in my wardrobe pick what you like I don't mind," I chuckled. She jumped down from my arms and walked back over to my room. While she's getting changed I decide to make breakfast: chopping up some fruit and putting it in a bowl and some pancakes seeing as some of the ingredients for it went out of date tomorrow. Maya walks back in and I take in what's she's wearing: My black shirt with a galaxy design in the middle is tucked into to same black jeans she was wearing before; I figured she had a hair and in her wrist as her hair was put into a ponytail with a few pieces framing her beautiful face. "You look amazing."
"Thank you," she giggled, "I can give you back the shirt after I wash it."
"Nah. You keep it it looks better on you anyway," I say and I swear I say a faint blush fall onto her cheeks.

Maya slides into a chair and I dish up some of the pancakes and put them on a plate and hand it to her. She begins piling it with toppings in which I find amusing. I just go with some syrup and butter.
"The way you eat pancakes is just sad," she chuckled. I childishly stick my tongue out at her to which she giggles. I admire her before digging.

What would school bring today I wonder?
