Chapter 24: Reason

Bailey's POV 

The door slammed.  I looked around at the members.  With questioning eyes, I looked at Baekhyun wondering if he knew what happened.  But he only shook his head.  I noticed that some of the members weren't there.  

I excused myself saying that I needed to use the bathroom.  I let go of Baekhyun's hand then smiled at him.  When I left the room, I heard them teasing Suho.  I went ahead to the bathroom.

Soon after, I realised who was the one who slammed the door.  

But why did he left just like that?

I quickly went out from Suho's apartment, hoping to catch him before he really leaves.

I was in the lobby trying to search for him.  But he was nowhere to be found.  I went to the swimming pool, hoping he would be there walking around but to no avail he wasn't there either.  

Not wanting to give up, I tried my luck again and went ahead with asking the security if they saw anyone who left the lobby earlier.  With their description matching his profile given by the security, I quickly left the building hoping to catch him.

I think I walked for a bit before entering a nearby park.  It seems like he actually left without saying anything.  Spotting a bench, I sat down and tried processing whatever happened back in Suho's apartment.  How will all this affect us after this?  Is it okay if I told Sam everything that happened today?  If fans know that I was getting close to EXO and their faves, how will my life be the same ever again? 

So many questions were floating in my head yet no answers were available to them.

Chanyeol's POV 

Why am I even feeling like this?  What even is this feeling?  Aishh jinjjaa.  Yah Park Chanyeol, what's wrong with you?

Oh great now I'm talking to myself like a freak.  Urghhh its gonna be so awkward tomorrow.  Aishhh.....

"What are you doing? You're gonna get concussion with the amount of times you are hitting your head", she said to me.

"What's wrong? Yah I was joking. I know you won't get concussion from that. But really what's bothering you Chanyeol-ah", she asked me again while taking a seat on the swing beside me.

Since I was pretty much surprised that anyone even found out where I was, not to say Bailey herself was the one who came looking for me, I kept quiet.  No words can possibly come out from my mouth now.  Weird I know, because I never was the one to be out of words.

Waiting for me to answer her or even try to say something to her, I caught a glimpse of her looking at me with a smile etched on her face while slowly rocking on the swing.  Her feet swayed about.

You're so cute....

"Really?"

"Huh", I replied.

"You just called me cute. By accident I think. Cause well I know I'm not cute so....", she started rambling.

"Aniya. I did call you cute. It wasn't meant for you to hear but yeah. You're not only cute, you are beautiful and ah...and..", I stopped cause she was right in front of me now.  I only noticed it when I turned around to look at her because I was nervous.

Like I said, I was never one to be nervous or be out of words.  But with her, it feels different.

"Uhmm I-I, ahh. Gomawo Chanyeol-ah", she placed her hand on my shoulder without realising it.
