Allyson's POV
It was a relevantly typical afternoon in Miami, revolving around the heat wave and me unpacking into my new apartment. This process has taken me awhile due to moving solo and opening up a new veterinary clinic in order for me to continue my erratic life and keep my isolated secrets.
I placed the last picture on my shelf, sitting myself on the floor and taking in the smell of the freshly painted walls. I could feel the emptiness around me, I liked it this way: alone.*knock*knock
I knew I thought too soon. Grabbing the stand for leverage, I stood up, a bit wobbly at first but as I stepped forward my slight limp was faint. Cautiously, I opened to door staring into the face of a welcoming woman.
"Hi, I'm Jene, I live a few doors down from you and I'd just like to welcome you to our little community."
I gave a slight smirk, leaning on the opening of the door way.
"It's nice to meet you."
I held out my hand waiting for the woman to take it, she looked down and did just that.A quick glance at a hand can define a lot of things, it can define if you smoke, bite your nails due to anxiety, it could even define if you've been in a recent brawl.
"I'm Allyson."
I stated, letting go of her hand, taking one last quick peak.
"Well, if you need anything, or have any questions, don't be a stranger."
"Will do,thanks."
I quickly , yet softly shut the door, watching as she walked down the stairs and into her car.
The fake girl I have become is quite interesting. She's not a complete dream, but she's quite convincing and she suits just fine for a pretend woman. She smiles, laughs, flirts, takes interest in what people have to say and even has her own set of opinions while the real Allyson feels..well, not so much.
I continued to unpack some minor belongings, including the box of tokens I kept in order to remember what I do best. Before I laid my head down for a quick power nap, I grabbed my lap top to check my email, making sure my plans were still in motion for tonight.
"I'm gonna make sure you never forget me. Meet you there at 8."
I chuckled and shut my lap top, laying myself down and setting my alarm .
*beep *beep*beep
Shutting off the alarm clock, and getting my ass off the couch were the first two vital steps for this operation. The clothes I choose to wear also were a factor along with the weapons I use of course.
Like any single 30 year old woman, I was dressing myself up for my ideal night on the town, only my perception of fun was a bit different than other young women my age. Taking one last glance in the mirror before shutting off my bathroom light, I purposely caught the sight of my family photo, knowing that I'm now, the last one free, the lone soul but I won't neglect balancing the world while I'm here.
When I arrived at my destination I sat in the car, my head pressed against my seat, observing my surroundings nonchalantly catching the eyes of him; the man I was destined to end.
"Well, hello there handsome."
Maybe I should stop speaking to myself so much.
I opened the door, plastering a friendly, warm smile upon my face as I looked into his eyes.
"Are you-"
"Sarah, I'm Sarah Garner."
Creating an alias wasn't a new thing for me, I use Sarah on most occasions.
