Dexters' POV

Allyson, she was like me, like Luman, she was carrying a dark secret, she had a dark passenger. She has a secret life, she's the female version of Dexter Morgan and she almost received my knife in her chest.

"The food here is sorta bland, than again I've never really tasted scrambled eggs that weren't."

I smiled, watching her consume her meal.

"You've never had my eggs,I'm sort of a breakfast buff."

She smirked, taking a sip of her orange juice, chuckling as she set it back down.

"I love a man that has amazing eggs.."

Smirking at her as she makes jokes, is all I seem to be accomplishing here.

"The ocean ay?"

Her questions, I almost forgot that she's been tracking me for months now.

"Yah know, where you cast your bait."

Metaphoric, at least she attempts to be subtle. I nodded, and proceeded to take out my wallet, placing money on the counter.

"Why him?"

Allyson shrugged, beginning to play with her food. She became very uncomfortable.

"You know why, or you would have if you did your research correctly. Breaking your 'code' is som-"

How did she know about the code? I glared at her, interrupting her midway through her sentence.

"How did you know that?"

Allyson once again flashed her teeth, breaking eye contact and giving her barely finished plate of food to the waitress.

"I've been observing you, we've already covered this."

"Unless you've been observing me inside of my apartment then I..."

She quickly fixated her eyes back onto me. She has been in my apartment, but how?

'She's like you Dexter, what do you usually do when you can't get into a place?'

Harry, always in my head, always putting in his two cents.

"You're very smart Dex, I'm impressed. I was looking for evidence of the trash you've already taken out. I'm having a bit of trouble searching for this guy and I thought you may have already ...well you know."

I quickly stood up from the booth as Allyson did the same. I don't have time for this, but she is rather intriguing.

"Drive me home?"

She asked as she grasped onto the table for leverage, I placed my arm around her waist, and began to walk towards the door.

The drive to her home was quite, Allyson began to fall asleep, placing her head on the window .

"The drive way is on your left."

She mumbled, rubbing her eyes.

I didn't entirely want to drop her off and leave her. She knew, I knew about her, how can we just go our separate ways. I began to pull in, as she lifted her head and glanced over to me .

"Here's my apartment."

She stated as we pulled up.

"Will I hear from you again Mr.Morgan?"

I nodded.

"Dexter's fine."

She smiled once more, reaching her hand towards my face, plucking something off of my cheek.

"Make a wish."

I remembered her 'trophy', grabbing it from my pocket and handing it to her.

"Almost forgot."

I spoke as she kissed my cheek, and began limping towards her door.

I was intrigued by her, maybe even surprised that another me exists. Her dark passenger must have grasped deep inside of her much like mine.

Allyson's POV

I took the small plastic bag of eye lashes and put them away into my special box, hiding them in a hollowed out book underneath the floor boards in my closet , you can never be too sure.

I have not yet grasped the fact that I could've been killed, it didn't bother me too much. Actually speaking to dexter Morgan instead of lurking him from a far was a bit different. The man that was much like me, the man I wanted to learn from. How does he do it? How does he pretend the next day, is it the same way I do? How does he have time to date and take care of a kid? Considering I feel as though I've never had a moment to breathe. I want to live, I don't want to just hold a lie, but someone knows now, Dexter and I, maybe we're two of a kind. Maybe we're just evil through and through.
