There was a blind, white-haired 12yo child outside in a forest. She was sitting out in a blizzard. Her name was unknown to the world. She liked the cold. She wore a necklace that kept her immune to the low temperature. She was wearing a white ragged long sleeve shirt and white pajama pants. Almost ghost-like. So ghost-like, that there are sightings of her on newspapers. She was literally known as a ghost to the world. She couldn't hear or feel as it was too numbing and noisy. She was trying to find a way inside but again, she couldn't hear or feel. And she was blind so she couldn't use her light grey eyes to see anything. She needed help. There was a boy. He stumbled across the cold terrain, his caramel colored hair now covered in the white snow which let the cold bite down onto his body. He wasn't used to the cold at all, in fact he hated it. His grey eyes glanced around the area, but what to use? He could not see through the dense snow and winds that pushed towards him. Those winds blew past his ears and the only thing he could hear was this terrible ringing sound- it gave him a headache. Soon he got his act together and bolted forwards, panting and gasping for air but was only met with the cold choking him out. With much hard work he realized that he had reached a structure, and ran inside- his boots tapping against the floors as he collapsed and coughed quietly. Even though it was noisy and extremely hard to hear, the girl heard something run by. "Maybe a squirrel," she thought. "No..it was too slow and loud." She couldn't pinpoint where she heard it so she just stood there, continuing to look ghostly. Still panting, the boy tried to catch his breath but to no avail. The cold winds still seemed to follow him inside as he curled up, wishing that he hadn't decided to go away from home today. His little grey eyes filled up with tears as they became glossy- one slid down his face as he buried his head further into his knees. Clearly he was not used to places like these, and definitely wasn't used to the cold in any way. His grey jacket was now soaked from the snow melting into it, the same with his pants. It was truely a miserable sight. The girl took a chance. She ran over and smacked her face in the wall...welp, at least she knows where the house is now. She felt around for the doorknob and opened the door. She walked in, closing the door. "H-...H-Hello?" She struggled but finally got the word out. She was a little cold but that wasn't the reason for the failure to say 'hello.' It's because she hadn't talked for about...4 years straight. She had her head tilted. It was a lot less noisy in here- she could hear clearly. The boy heard her voice and looked up, hoping that it was one of his sisters, but it seemed not. His face turned snow white as he stared at the girl, throwing himself against the wall. Not only did he shake from the low temperature, he also shook from fear. She looked so much like a ghost that he thought she was a ghost! And from experience he did know what those evil creatures of death looked like. Well, not all of them were evil- but most in his family were. "Nobody told me that there were g-ghosts here-! Mama help meeee!" He wailed, falling back down and closing his eyes, obviously scared of death. The girl was a little confused..."S-Someone told you to come here?" she was going to comment on the 'ghost' thing in a bit. Her hair was glistening with little pieces of snow- but her hair was white so it blended perfectly. She wasn't shaking a bit from the cold but...no one knew why. Everyone just assumed it was because she was a ghost. Her blind eyes were staring blankly at the ground. The boy paused for a second to calm himself down a bit, taking a deep breath and gulping down the cold in his mouth. "Well no.. but they should've warned me that ghosts were in the cold! I didn't think they'd like the cold!" He slid down the wall and curled up again, doing the exact same thing he did before; burying his head in his knees and trying to ignore the cold as much as he could. It was hard when his clothes were wet, but he managed to pull through about an hour of it before this so maybe 5 more minutes would be okay? The girl felt some shaking on the floor and commented on it. "You're cold...severely." She didn't know how it felt in the cold like that, because again- she can hardly feel cold temperatures..."I remember there being a blanket somewhere around here, i cant remember where i put it" she was trying to help. The blanket was on a bed in the room to the boy's left. He looked around a it after hearing that there was a blanket somewhere around here. He stood up with his arms around his chest and walked towards a bed, grabbing a blanket from it and inspecting it to make sure there wasn't anything like dust or bedbugs on the blanket. Thankfully there were not any, so with a satisfied sigh he put it over himself as a safe feeling covered him as well as the blanket. He definitely felt warmer but there was no surprise there. "..Thank you.. you're very kind for a ghost." He said. "A 'Ghost' huh?..." She said. because she had no idea that she was being called a 'ghost' by other people. "Is that what people call me? You'll be a little happier that I'm not a ghost." "You need to let your body warm up..Are you more
comfortable knowing I'm not a ghost?" she tilted her head, her eyes were just visible, it looked like she was looking into the boy's eyes but...Blindness proves that she couldn't look at anything.
