"Loki."
"Amateur sorceress."
The witch inspects the god in its cage. It's kind of a pity to see someone so powerful locked up. She would have so much respect for the magician in front of her, that if he wasn't trying to take over her planet. She remembers learning about him at Hogwarts. Loki had always been one of her favorite characters. The god of mischief often reminds her of herself and seeing him as the bad guy now makes her wonder about her own actions. She meets his gaze while fiddling with the strap of her purse.
"You've come to learn more about my secret plans?" Loki was being sarcastic, too sarcastic for someone who was trapped, caught, defeated.
"I've come to give it a shot." Amelia shrugs, deciding on a casual approach, "Agent Romanoff said something about Banner? What do you plan to do with him?"
Loki analyses the woman before him, a sneer on his face, "Why do you think that I would tell you anything? You are but a tiny, puny mortal."
"Yet, I'm not the one in a cage."
"So what can you threaten me with? I'm already trapped and you don't look like the torturing type."
"You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but no, I am not here to torture you. That doesn't really work with the 'hero' thing I'm trying at the moment."
"So a woman with a dark side, huh? Tell me more about yourself, a name to begin with maybe?" Lia knew what Loki was trying at, he wanted to know his enemies. Amelia had an advantage, she wasn't in any file and agent Barton didn't know her. That and she knew a lot about his background, if the books at Hogwarts were all correct.
"I think you know my name, it's Mia."
"Cute how you think to earn my trust when you lie to me."
"Right, god of deception. It's Amelia."
"Amelia." The way he says it gives her goosebumps but not in a good way, "Tell me Amelia, what are you doing on this ship?"
"I could ask you the same."
"I thought we went over this, me being trapped in this cage because I was trying to take over the worl- are all mortals really that empty-headed?"
Amelia her eyes narrow, "Then why does it look like you want to be on this ship?"
Loki gives her a charming smile, "Would you believe me if I said that I simply wanted to enjoy more of your company?"
They stare at each other for a while. Grey eyes meeting blue eyes- wait blue eyes. She really thought that Loki's eyes were green in the stories, just like his magic. It's might just be a mistake in the books at Hogwarts, she would have to ask Thor about that.
"How do you plan on breaking out? You can't expect dr. Banner to hulk out and break specifically this part of the plane? What do you need him for?"
"Ohhh, there goes my plan." Loki puts a hand on his heart, acting hurt.
This was hopeless. Loki was just going to keep beating around the bush. She could get veritaserum, the truth potion, but then he would need to drink something and he is not dumb enough to do that. There is one other way... something else that she could try. But it's risky and only has a small chance in succes. She has no choice but to do it, remembering the threat of the war looming over her shoulders. She would have to catch him of guard.

Meanwhile the other heroes were still arguing in the lab. Stark and Rogers standing face to face, one trying to intimidate the other. It wasn't until the cage of Loki was brought up that the conversation took a dark turn. The team was shocked to hear about Bruce's suicide attempt.
