This Chapter Picks Up Right Off The Last.

4 weeks later, Night

Lothal was much quieter than what they were used to on Yavin. The parked fighters and chatter of the Rebels, replaced with vast lands and gush of wind. With their house currently under construction, the two lived in an apartment for the time being. They couldn't wait to move into their dream house. For Ezra and Sabine, their lives couldn't be more happier.

"Hey Sabine?" Ezra called as he entered the apartment. "I'm in here." she called from the bedroom. "Where?" he asked, entering the room in. "I'm in the bathroom." she said, rolling her eyes. "I'll be right out." she said. Ezra sat looking over a data pad when she opened the door and just stood there. "What's wrong?" he asked looking up at her. "Ezra, we need to talk." she said with a nervous look on her face as she walked over and sat on the bed. "Okay... What is it?" he asked worried. "Well...I'm...Ummm." she said flustered. "It's ok Sabine what's it?" he said, taking her hands. "I'm...I'm pregnant Ezra....." she said turning red. "Wait...I'm going to be a dad?!" he said, hugging her." That's amazing Sabine," he said. "I didn't know how you would react, I found out last night when I took a test." she said smiling. "But when did we..." he said." The night after our mission" she said. "Right...well we should get ready for bed." he said, still in shock at what she said. "Ok. Good night ez." she said kissing him. "Good night Sabine." he said as she rested her head on his chest.

The next morning was uneventful until the Ghost appeared and landed next to the unfinished house. As Sabine and Ezra walked over to greet the visitors the ramp lowered and Kanan and Hera walked off. "Hey guys." Hera said, hugging the two. "Hey, Hera how have you guys been?" Sabine said. "It's been a rough past couple of days but everything worked out." Hera said. "Not to be rude but why are you two here?" Sabine asked. "Well, we need you guys back. The Rebellion needs as many people as ever." she said, holding Sabine's shoulder. "We can't Hera, we are just starting our lives here, and besides we..." Sabine cut Ezra off with a light punch to the arm. "We what? What was about to say?" Hera asked, looking at Sabine. "Well..." she paused for a few seconds. "We are having a baby." she said finally. "You guys are having what?" Kanan butted in. "We are having a baby. I only found out last night." Sabine said while looking over at Ezra. "Okay, we need to have a girl talk." Hera said, pulling Sabine to the side. "When did this happen?" she asked, whispering. "On the ship after we completed our mission." Sabine said quietly. "Well..." Hera said, thinking. "Ezra and I can't come back with you, I'm sorry Hera." she said. "It's ok Sabine. Good luck you two and if you need us please call." Hera said as Kanan and her started walking back to the ship. "Goodbye Ezra." Hera said, hugging him and Sabine before getting back on the Ghost. The couple standing there waving goodbye to their old friends.

Seven Months later,

As night had settled on Lothal, Sabine, laying in Ezra's arms as he watched the HoloNet, let her mind drift in thought. "Sabine, What is it?" Ezra asked, sensing her thoughts. "I was just thinking about Hera's visit." she said. "That was a while ago." he said looking down at her. "I know, but we should see them before the baby comes." she said looking up into his eyes. "Can we invite them over to dinner and to spend a night or two here? We have the room for them to stay." she asked. "Yeah that would be nice." he said kissing her forehead. "I'll contact them tonight." she said with a smile.

Later that night

"Hey, Hera how are you guys?" Sabine said as the hologram of Hera appeared. "We have been good here, how is our future mom doing?" Hera asked with a smile. "I'm good, everything here couldn't be going better." Sabine said. "So what's going on?" Hera asked. "Well Ezra and I wanted to invite you guys to catch up for dinner and spend a night or two at the house." she told her. "That would be great, we would love that." Hera said with a big smile. "Great, is next week good for you guys?". Sabine asked. "That would be great. Will see you two soon." Hera said. "Bye Hera." Sabine said, turning off the comm.
