Reunion of Loved Ones

Nate, the pack and I got informed that it was the anniversary for the vampire reunion. That meant my mom and I will be recognized for the first time as the queen and princess. Today was also the funeral where my grandparents and ancestors will be together once again with my grandmother. She has her special container picked out already. My grandma will be reunited with loved ones once again during her funeral. My mom has arranged for many other family members to come and mourn with us. My father has cooked many foods. He has already prepared spaghetti with animal or human blood and human meatballs. I bet it will be delicious.

Nate and our pack have been invited. My mom decided I should have everyone I care about to be there. Nate was so sad for me that he agreed to have another get away soon. Arridessa came with them and she was dressed in the cutest dress. My mom had given birth days earlier and she was named Kadee. She is as beautiful as her sisters and her mom. Kadee was a vampire as well as her mom. She got along with Arridessa and they were to become best friends. The ceremony is about to begin as everyone arrived.

My mom and her helpers escorted everyone to their seat so we can start the ceremony. As soon as they were in their seats, my mom began to speak at the podium. She says, "We are gathered here today to reunite our loved ones together again. My mom was a very kind woman and a great queen. She has passed her role on to me as I have passed my role as princess to my daughter, Arrieta." My mom calls me over to say a few words. And, I walk up to the podium with Nate at my side. Arridessa sat behind us near the podium while I gave my speech to the guests.

I said, "Hello, I am devastated to see my grandmother go, but I know I have to let her cross over to my grandfather and my ancestors. Well before we let her go, please place your black roses on top of her grave." We all gathered at her grave and placed our roses on her grave. The helpers lowered her container into the floor and we left the room. The guests gathered in the courtyard and prepared for dinner. Our waiters started with our appetizers. My dad prepared "lady fingers" and "finger sandwiches". They were delicious but, the pack and I wanted to go hunting. I asked my mom and she let me go beyond the countries. Nate and I were flanked by Scott and Aaron Ray. Arridessa rode on Leann in the back.

Nate, the pack and I took down a herd of wildebeests. Nate and I shared about half of one and gave the rest to Arridessa. She was really hungry and we can tell by how much she ate. Arridessa ate our half along with a huge boar Leann caught for her. We headed back home but, we heard a very familiar noise and something jumped out at us. It was my nana and papa's pack. Ej was leading the other boys to find me and my pack. Ej said it was important that we go home right now. We took him to my parents' house and Ej told us the news. He said that papa wanted to inform us that there is an evil darkness that wants to kidnap me. My parents gasped in shock and told me to be prepared for the worst. They put the castle under twenty-four hour surveillance.

Nate and I stayed in my room and went on the internet. We chatted with my Aunt Shar to see if there were any updates. She said that Nana was coming to see me and to give me some of her ancient equipment to defend myself. Nate was so worried and he got his other family members to set up around the castle. His family was determined to keep me safe because without a hybrid, there will not be peace. My life will determine if there will be peace between the worlds. There was human and Supernatural, then species fighting against each other. I was to determine their own future, and it is hard to make those decisions. All creatures count on me to do something.

My mother and father are trying to find out who would want to take me. My father was thinking that it was his older brother, Marcus. Marcus was really angry because as the oldest, he was supposed to inherit the everlasting gift of the "Enryha". The "Enryha" is an ancient sword that would be passed on from generation to generation. Marcus didn't inherit it because papa thought he was irresponsible and ignorant. My dad is only one year younger than Marcus and papa gave it to him because he had a life and he could hold himself up along with his family. Papa loves dad and Marcus very much but, Marcus is unreliable and selfish. My dad thinks its Marcus to take what is rightfully his. But soon, the sword will be mine and I will pass it on from my generation to another.

The Enryha is very important to my family and it is one of the most magical of the weapons. Nate and I went to the dining room the next morning to eat breakfast. My father told me story about our secret abilities of wind and fire. I have inherited these powers from my nana and papa. The Enryha harnesses the power of fire, and my nana passed on her power within me. I can control wind and fire from my energy of my body. My nana and papa came over to teach me how to use my abilities. Papa also taught Nate how to battle with another special sword called the "Yagazuki" sword.

Nate was thrilled to train and be with me again in a battle. The Enryha and my wind magic are so fascinawting and very special to me. Nate says to me during practice,
"I love you, Arrieta Danielle, and I will follow you anywhere and protect you forever!" I say, "I will too."
