What am I doing? Everything is deathly silent. My body is sore. Where am I? I can't breath. Oh god, I can't breath. Somebody help! Is there even anyone there? It's so quiet. Am I dying? Probably. I can't breath.
Wait what is this feeling, something is being forced through my skin, my shoulder. Blood is pouring out of it. It burns! Something has its teeth sunk into my shoulder, but I can't move. It's eating me! Something is eating me! Finally I let out a scream and bubbles tickle my skin. I'm in water? I guess that would be why I can't breath. My head falls backwards, and I hear the water from my hair pour off. A cool breeze blows through and around me, it carries a fowl sent that I can't identify. I try to open my eyes as blood continues to trickle down from my shoulder onto my back and chest, tickling me like fingers running across my skin. And the beast gnaws on my shoulder. By this time my whole body has become numb, I can barley even tell if I am breathing.
It seems like a whole life time has gone by when I get my eyes open. What I see first is the outline of a huge head, then I make out small beady black eyes and turquoise scales. Then the minor details come in, like the blood speckling the beast's nose, the small hairs that cover the monster face, and the yellow-stained teeth that are biting of my shoulder. That last one, I scream, the pain comes back in a wave of heat and nausea. The closeness of the monster's flaring nostrils and its wide black eyes is terrifying. Alarmed from the protest of its pray the beast throws me with it's long powerful neck. I see the world flowing past me in a blur of confusion. And I feel the sharp air on my open wound. Then I hear a thud and a painful crack and the world goes once again, deathly silent.
