Mystery Shack - Day
It was a day like any other for the pines family. (Also Soos, Melody and Wendy. even waddles.) Soos was doing business as usual, Melody was fixing the shack (supposedly switching between cashier and engineer, Stan was watching T.V. since he's got nothing better to do, Stanford was down in the bunker doing some sciency things... I dunno. And Wendy...well she's been "working" like usual. What, reading a magazine is not working? I mean, I guess she's on break or something I don't know. But those are not the main heroes of this story.

(But Stan defeated Bill in weirdmageddon 3!)

Yes but this isn't about Stan right now, this is about the current mystery twins!

Ahem...

Anyhow, as I was saying, those are not the main heroes of the story, no. The real heroes are up the stairs in the shack.

Dipper and Mabel were doing what they always do. Dipper added more mysteries to his new journal, mabel was putting cat posters on the wall, nothing can go wrong.

(CRASH!)

Or so they thought.

Dipper: What was that?

Mabel who finished posting a vandalized picture of Gabe and his puppets replied.

Mabel: I dunno, maybe its the gnomes again. I hope they're not trying the whole norman shtick again. They need a new queen...

Dipper opened the window and looked outside the shack. No one was there.

Dipper: I don't think its the gnomes Mabel.

Mabel: "Well if it's not the gnomes then what is it?" The curious girl said while holding her pig, waddles.

Ford: What the, HOT BELGIAN WAFFLES!

Stan: Heh heh, someone finally picked up on Lil Stanley!

Ford: Oh, Quiet Stanley!

Stan: What? Just saying, Sixer. You'd read it eventually. Hahaha!

The twins rushed down to the main center of the Mystery Shack to see Ford looking out the window. Ford was at a loss of words. He was looking at a owl rummaging through the trash can pulling and tossing certain items into a sack.

Dipper: What is it, Grunkle Ford?

Ford: Come and take a look for yourself Dipper.

Dipper walked up to the window and saw the owl still pulling out items from the trash can. Dipper pulled out his journal and started to write down this new mystery.

Dipper: Hmm, Is this regular weird or new weird.

Ford: I dunno, it could be both! Either that or I might still have hallucinations from that time portal.

Mabel left the room and came back with a net, a grappling hook, and walkie talkies.

Mabel: Well whatever it is I wanna help!

Dipper was confused at this point. Mabel would never help him and Ford with solving mysteries. Mabel would only help if it means adventure and boys.

Dipper: wait, you actually wanna help us?! Mabel, this is new for you.

Mabel: Well of course I wanna help my big bro and second grunkle! I wanna start helping you more this summer!

Dipper was hesitant about this. He was worried if she would screw this up for them. He let out a sigh.

Dipper: (sigh) Okay. But promise me you won't mess this up.

Mabel giggled.

Mabel: I promise you dip, I won't blow it.

Dipper: Okay, you promise?

Mabel: promise.

Dipper: are you sure?

Mabel: Yes, Definitely, Absolutely!

Dipper: Great! Hey, Grunkle Stan, you wanna help Ford, Mabel and I solve another mystery?

Their Great Uncle Stanley was in the other room, sitting on a couch watching T.V.

Stan: Nah, I wanna catch up on the new reboot of Ducktective! And besides, your adventures always involve someone getting hurt. So don't come crying to me when you get hurt!

Dipper: Fine. Soos, wanna come?

Soos: Sorry dude, I'm gonna stay with Melody managing the Mystery Shack.

Dipper: Wendy?

Wendy put down her magazine.

Wendy: 'Can't dipper, I had enough adventures after the oddpocalypse. Also my dad wants me to come to the Gravity Falls Festival for some lumberjack contest or something. Here, i snagged an extra pamphlet.

Wendy handed the pamphlet to Dipper. He opened it and it read in the center:

GRAVITY FALLS FESTIVAL!

Dipper: Thanks, Wendy!

Wendy: No problem, dude.

Dipper was so lost in the anticipation of this special event he almost forgot what he was planning. It wasn't long until he realized what he was doing.

Dipper: Well, this'll have to wait.

He puts the pamphlet in his pocket in his jacket.

Ford: Are we ready?

Dipper & Mabel: YES!!

And then, they walked out the door.
