I stood in front of the priest with Yoongi. He didn't have any readable expression, nor happiness nor sadness. I was so confused. Yet I couldn't I anything about it. "So, I declare you both husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
The world crowd went silent. My heart picked up its pace as Yoongi removed my vow and pacing his hand beneath my ear as he pulled me closer planting a gentle peck on my lips. The crowd broke the silence with 'oohs' and 'ahhh'. Yoongi moves near my ear. "Tonight is going to be fun," he whispered sending shivers down my spine.
The celebration ended at late evening. "Umm....here are your keys to you new apartment." Dad handed Yoongi the keys as Yoongi gave him a short smile. I can tell he was forcing it. "I'm going to miss you so much," Sunmi, my best friend said hugging me. "Hey hey, it's not the end of the world. I'm not leaving forever. We'll still meet each other." I patted her back.
"We should get going." I heard Yoongi behind me. I nodded as we both got into his car. The drive home was very quiet. I sent short glances over at Yoongi who was focused on the road. "Will you stop glancing at me now and then?" I quickly turned my head towards the window. So, he caught me glancing at him. How fucking embarrassing!
We reached a 15 story building. He parked the car next to a white car, what that's mine. A smile plastered over my lips but it soon faded away. I was expecting him to open the door for me but he just got out and made his way towards the elevator. I sighed and got out, filling behind him.
He opened the door to our new apartment. I was quite amused by how small yet comfortable it looked at Yoongi. "First rule, since there's only one bed, we'll share it but there will be a bolster between the two of us. Second rule, always mind your own business. Third rule, don't be loud cause I like quite places. And forth rule, don't dare to talk to me unless there's major problems." I stared at him judging whether if he's talking with his senses or not.
"Understood?" I looked away and nodded. "Good." I him making his way inside the bedroom and the sound of closing doors. I slowly walked towards the couch and sat down. Meeting him the first time was unexpected, I've never thought that I'd get married to him.
Slowly tears started forming in my eyes, which are daring to come out any time. I heard the door open. I quickly closed my eyes and lowered my head. It hurts. But why? Why did I get married with someone I didn't love?
"You can go now." I heard his footsteps going towards the kitchen without nodding or saying a word. I walked into the bedroom, closing it behind me. I took a nice, hot shower and wore: (white T-shirt with black shorts) I dried my hair. Just as I was about to put the dryer down, I heard a gentle knock on the door. I opened it.
"Done?" I let him get in before I walked out of the room. This is what he asked for, not to talk to him unless there's a 'major problem', right? And I respect his decision.
I looked inside the fridge and there are some vegetables which I can make some salad with. "Guess this is the dinner for tonight."
